I think this route would be a great edition to Train Sim World since it has Union Pacific and BNSF its about 70 miles I am sure they would shorten it up to about 50-60 mile range for TSW but obviously union pacific would have its marking and logos but BNSF would only in the United States which is fine with me because I am from New York and they say unmarked routes do not sell well so that is where UP comes into play that would help the route sell outside of the U.S. The locos for this route I think would be great is a BNSF SD70ACe and a BNSF ES44AC and For Union Pacific GP40 and SD40-2.

US version which has a BNSF ES44AC & SD70ACE. While outside the US EU Canada Asia Pacific & Australia versions get the Reskinned ES44AC UP 2551-8187 source is railpictures.net & SD70ACE BNSF gets a reskin to become Union Pacific SD70ACE 1111-9094

Sorry to burst your bubble, but unbranded content will not be made for TSW2. DTG confirmed this on multiple occasions.

now, i would love this route, its definitely a nice american route to drive, but the only issue i have is the BNSF licences, BNSF is a no-no in terms of licensing issues, but this route with Union Pacific is do-able

The BNSF locos could be included in UP livery instead of BNSF. I'd prefer this route set in the 1970s-90s with SP diesels. SD7/SD9 "Cadillacs", SD45s, SD40T-2s/SD45T-2s, GP60s, U-Boats, or C44-9Ws would be fantastic. Perhaps a backdated version set in the 1950s could include a Cab Forward, FP7A/F7B, GP7/9, and/or SD7/9.

The only thing is they would be up against Run 8, but in principle this would make a great route. My preference would be backdate to the early or mid 90's when iconic trains like the Oil Cans still ran.

Even if that's still the case they could still get by with only UP stock, they could even have the BNSF services present, just represented with UP stock on the headend. They've been doing that as far back as CSX Heavy Haul, and they've even done that recently, as the upcoming Oakville update makes use of CalTrain stock.

Absolutely, I was more referring to the OP‘s wish to have branded (and unbranded for non-US customers) BNSF locos. I‘d love to get Tehachapi Pass in TSW and sticking to UP would certainly be a good way to get it done.

Please don‘t remind me of that :D

I would personally prefer a Southern Pacific era over modern UP.
