Hello, I'm creating an electric loco for TS2022 I have a question about Max Power and Max Force units inside locos subsystem blueprints. Its not very clear because BlueprintEditor2 says its "hp" and "Lb/f" respectively and online Docs says its "kW" and "kN". But I have to mention that online Docs don't contain any info on pure Electric Subsystems. Doing my test with electric loco I didn't notice any difference if these values maxed out or just zero. Can you specify the actual units in these sections? And please specify if this values should change in physics of electric loco. I also tried changing them on diesel loco and change was obvious. Actually it became two questions. Thanks in advance for reply!
What is an Electric Subsystem Unit? They are either DMU, B/DEMU or EMU. Blueprint Editor was written with English references but modern trains have Kw & Kn.
I meant units that are used for measurements. In my case its just double section electric loco. Yes, I understand that. But I'm not sure which should I use when filling these values? Should I transform kW to hp or should I use plain kW numbers. For instance, I have full loco power of 6160. I divide it by 2 (double unit loco). And then sould I fill 3080 into blueprint or 4130 (last one is converted to hps)?
I have no idea - you talk about an Electric Subsystem and also it is a two section loco but not know what it is.
The loco is CHS7 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ChS7 But I talked about abstract loco. It will be just different values for other locos. But the question which units Train Simulator expects from me? HP's or kW's?
Have a look at one of the European electric locos you already own and see what the output is shown as This might help https://zagruzkamods.com/12268-pack-electric-locomotives-chs7-chs7-v10-for-ts-2017.html
Yeah, I know about these authors. Unfoturnately their content is pretty low quality so it is bad as a reference. But I guess I could check locos from AP and some Czech ones. AP for high standarts of content and Czech's cos CHS7 were made on Skoda factory.
