Greetings everyone! This weeks theme will be: Unusual It's mostly guidance, interpret however you wish. I can edit some ideas here if it's unclear. I sorted the poll by last week's votes, their subjects should definitely fit this one, if a little creatively. Rules: - Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to a theme. Otherwise anything goes. - You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. - 3rd party content, reshades, reskins, etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. - Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). - The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). Entries accepted until 9:00 PM UTC on Friday, November 26th and will be judged by andras.triznya. In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5 PM Sunday, November 21st a new thread can be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll. Good luck everyone!
A Hunslet - Barclay Class 20 hauled Rail Head Treatment train at Matlock Bath on the JT Derwent Valley Line.
A pair of Class 37 hauled Snow Ploughs in the middle of Summer passing the Brush Factory at Loughborough on the Midland Main Line.
Since the recent announcement that the proposed new HS2 Line to Leeds has been cancelled, Arriva North have wasted no time in looking to expand capacity on the network by trialling the new Class 142 Aqua-Pacer known affecionately as the "Nodding Goldfish".
You have a lot of creativity. Already having a good laugh! I didn't expect it to work out so well I had so much more trivial ideas.
Seeing as a comedy element has crept in to this weeks offerings, I thought I would offer this. Due to an increase in theft of cable on the Fen Line, the local constabulary of Downham Market have decided to up their game. Loco:- AP Class 37 & Howitzer gun from the Bulleid Q1 pack. With the 150th Anniversary of the London to Brighton line, a railtour was organised in commemoration of the day. Formed of 73101 'Brighton Evening Argus', specially repainted in Pullman Umber and Cream for the occasion, and a rake of VSOE Pullman stock, usually used for the Orient Express. The tour ran from London Victoria to Brighton. Loco:- Class 73 Route:- London to Brighton

A set of two DPUs push a BNSF grain train up Stevens pass. Nothing unusual about the consit, but the vantage point of the photo is abnormal.
Whilst flooding is not unusual on rail lines here in the UK, what is unusual is that the flooding has occurred in a straight line across the railway at Cross Gates. Also not unusual is the NR staff standing around deciding whether to do any work or not, lol. ATS Class 185 Leeds Lines V2.
Good morning everyone! Announcing is harder than I thought First of all, I enjoyed all of the pictures. The top of the podium was a tough one between 1., cscarpenter showing off some really nice liveries, the Pullman being my favorite; 2., Craigie-C with some really imaginative shots, with the Aqua-Pacer invoking an honest laugh. Both deserved the gold medal, so I decided to shortcut by checking recent winners. Only 4 shots remain in competition for the bronze, and I really like the idea behind 3., mfeets' reflection shot. Thanks for participating, let the next exhibition commence! (I decided not to clone the images in, but I can do so if you prefer.)
Yay! Thanks Triznya, must admit I do favour unique liveries, they make such a change from the norm. Must admit I also loved that reflection shot, that is something I had not ever thought of doing.
