Hello, today im suggesting the BR 218 for HHL. The DB Class 218 (before 1968 the DB Class V 164) are a class of 4-axle, diesel-hydraulic locomotives acquired by the Deutsche Bundesbahn for use on main and secondary lines for both passenger and freight trains. The class represents the final major revision of the DB V 160 family of locomotives; having the preferred features of the antecedent locomotives, including a hydrodynamic brake, and a single engine providing electrical train heating via a generator as well as tractive power. The class were also the most numerous of the family, providing the backbone of the Deutsche Bundesbahn's main-line diesel locomotive traction from the 1970s up to the reunification of Germany. Despite being displaced from many workings by DMUs, electrification, and inherited DR Class 130s, as of 2009 a significant number of the class still remain active throughout Germany including HHL (at the time the route was set) The DLC will feature the BR 218 in DB traffic red livery and will drive on hourly service to Kiel (as far as Lubeck) and 16 freight services to Bad Oldesloe from Rothenburgsort. Additionally it will have 4 IC services a day with the double headed BR 218 to Kiel (as far as Lubeck). Coaching stock as such will be the Dosto97 High-entry Dostos (Passenger BR218), Loaded and unloaded coal wagons (Freight BR 218 services) and the TEE Avmz (first class), TEE Bpmz (second class) as well as IC control car type Bpmbdzf (IC Services). Layers will include freight services on HRR, RRO, HMA and RSN, passenger (DB Regio) services on HMA, MSB. and IC services on HMA (SBB services) that's the end of this suggestion thanks for reading
Yes hopefully we do see it on the roadmap soon. but I'm not going to get my hopes up as TSG said that a while ago. Development does shift around a bit.
You also forgot Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen freight service and also ICE3 Rescue train duty. To which you must drive the DB BR218 DB BR406 back to Köln Hansaring Bw.
Yeah, with Sam's new policy, that'll be a while. We'd probably have heard about the G6 about a month ago if the current procedure had been followed back then. Keep in mind that work on a Br 218 (if TSG does actually decide to make it) will not commence until after the Br 232 is released. Unless Maik Goltz tells us in the forums, of course.
Indeed, but like TSG self said, 'soon' after the 232 the 218 should be released, i think +-1 to 2 months later
That's only realistic if work is already being done on the 218, for which we have no indication (no word on it, no screenshots,...). I think it's fair to say that a 218 is still in the very distant future - if TSG ends up doing one. Consider what Maik Goltz said concerning the time it takes to build locos:
driverwoods#1787 rescuing the BR 406 seems like a scenario not a daily thing! Also I don't live in that part of NRW so sorry if I didn't include freight services on SKA
TSG did the BR 218 for TS in a very good quality. So he has already done much research for the loco and has audio for it. Which makes it kinda likely that at some point, he will do a 218 (which to be honest seems more likely then just him doing a whole ICE 1 or something which has the same amount of work as 4 locos [engine coach, first and second class, + dining car]). But I think it highly depends on how well his G6, the 420 and 232 will sell. I hope it's enough to do more DLCs in TSW.
Thanks for telling me and These are used on IC118 Stuttgart Lindau. To Run Intercity 118 a purchase of HRR for DB BR101 then Hamburg-Lübeck DB BR218 and the Stuttgart Lindau Line. The reason for this is that IC118 starts on Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr Bochum Essen Duisburg.
TSG really did master the BR 218 in TS. The 232 and 420 definitely will be some of the best selling DLCs.
I did no 218 for TS1 yet. You may think about the vR 218. There is a lot of my work under the hood already, yes, but i didn't worked on it at all. I left vR before that thing got released.
