Hello, Just purchased the Welsh Marches route for TS2022 - Bossman Games. Please tell me they have running AI in quick drive mode? I have ensure it is not on player train only but this seems highly unrealistic and such a let down. Please can someone help me? TA
Just a bit of spiritual help. Can't help with fact checking, hopefully someone will chime in. I did check workshop and didn't find Quick Drives. Maybe someone could be nice enough to upload... In any event, my standard workaround is to create a standard or free roam scenario (with objectives). You could also download some workshop scenarios alongside the basic ones and edit them to have your desired train. RW Tools makes it easier, but you may want to visually edit your consist, I often do. Kinda poor and annoying at first but gives you a lot more options. One major struggle with QM for me tends to be differentiating freight, stopping and express services, not to mention starting from a yard / depot. So the lack of a busy QD might be a blessing in disguise.
Just doing a short quick drive run now between Shrewsbury and Hereford. Just outside Shrewsbury I encountered a Freighliner loco waiting at a signal. Further down the line I have already seen an Northbound AI Class 175 so going on that there should be AI present in quick drive. However, I wasn't using the default class 175, I was using the AP class 175 enhancement pack.
If the AI is working correctly you should pass 3 maybe 4 trains between Shrewsbury and Newport The Cardiff - Manchester is every hour and the Cardiff - Holyhead is every two hours
