Amazing, waited a year for this and finally we can see TSG's first DLC! Can't wait to drive it on RRO :)

Remember when there was all that confusion about whether any of TSG's add-ons would be released this year at all? When DTG kept saying that none of their add-ons would come out this year, even though TSG themselves where saying otherwise?

Well, glad we can finally put that all to bed as we get one of their add-ons this year and I looking forward to trying this out and hopefully exploring any new services that come with it.

That looks pretty cool and sounds like TSG have put in the effort with it so it will hopefully be up to the standard of the 101. I do like RRO as a route too, so might pick this one up... once the PS Trophies issue is resolved and some have been added.

When we provide you with information, we are giving you the most accurate and factual timescales as we have them. If the plan then changes we will always update the community accordingly.

In this instance it's a pleasure to see that the plan changed and the G6 is available this year.

That's actually part of an industrial siding that spurs off the S-Bahn line between Wehringhausen & Heubing.

Well no offense but i could recommend you guys at DTG to read what TSG says here in the forums instead of giving the people that info you guys at DTG have

Looking forward to it! But man, when I read coming soon in the title I was getting my hopes up for something like next week thursday which would be the 25th, but 2nd December? Ah maan....

Most probably 25th of November will be the launch date of UP Sherman Hill route instead.
According to the new Roadmap, it will be launched first.
So G6 should be available on December 2th.
Mainly considering Horseshoe Curve route was postponed.
Then 2 launches on the same week, not seems to be reasonable now.

LOL No. "World class", depends on how you look at it. "Top crew", yeah a one-men show basically. "Bigger than DTG". how? But thanks! :D

Seems like there‘s at least one openable body panel. I‘m still very excited to see TSG‘s first independent product in action :D

Great to see more content coming out, but for me I'm not a fan of the German routes. The units all look far too similar for my financial enticement

Quality of ideas through to production will give you the edge. Hire right and I give you 3 years before you are bigger than DTG or even in a position to operate your own platform away from TSW (in the third party sense). Quality work and big fan

I'm much more enthused about this than about Sherman Hill, although images of the latter's huge yard are also attractive.

After the enthusiastic posts of the kids who clapped their hands together ...
I will say a few words.
It's very good that another team has appeared, but this does not mean anything yet!
Yes, I read how deeply the G6 locomotive has been worked out, in the management and development of hydraulic systems! It's not bad...

But you remember how you started Rivet, they did the same with the BR204 - and it turned out to be a great locomotive.
But their further work on the creation of routes showed that they do not know how to do them!
The first Isle Of Wight route is short and empty! (In the sense of "nothing"!)
Arossа route is a complete failure! Mountains, rocks, stones, looks awful! I got the impression that people who first met UE4 did it, and how the landscape should be built!
Here is the third route, Cornwall - I liked it, they tried Rivet, but this is apparently the limit of their capabilities, for today!

And on the other hand, Skyhook - the Kane Creek route - is simply a masterpiece of execution and approach to the development of a mountain route!
(let Skyhook teach Rivet how to make mountain routes!)

    But back to our debutants!
The release of G6 will be a test, not of a locomotive, but of a TSG team !!!
On the subject of the quality of work and prospects!

    Good luck! We wait!

I'd like to object here. Seeing how the wrong transmission makes Rivet's 204 unrecognisable compared to a real one, it most certainly did not turn out "excellent." That's not even mentioning the horrible services provided.

What you didn't account for is that we've already seen TSG at work. From what I recall, TSG was involved in the Br 425, 423, 406, 403, and heavily involved in the Br 363 while the Br 101 is all TSG apart from the 3D model. The G6 is the first time TSG does it all, but these past products do give a clear indication as to what quality we can expect when TSG is involved.

All this, not that! Now, with the release of G6, there will be a debut! And then we'll see if they can immediately reach the Skyhook level! Or they will trudge like Rivet!

    The TSW game is evolving!
And I support developers by purchasing a prepaid product when offered!
And it doesn't matter if the route is a failure or a great one!
I have a complete collection and you can always compare!

Skyhook level? Skyhook pretty much ruined the BR 187 in TSW2, i hope TSG does not turn into Skyhook!

We have seen before how TSG works as Lamplight has said and I personally don't even need the preview to buy everything they release on day one because it gives me a lot of confidence.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for any other TSW developer, not even DTG itself.

ded mozaj , well, TSG doesn't plan to do whole routes, so the argument is invalid from there on. Skyhook level? Yeah right. Rivet's 204 was excellent? Eh, I like driving the 204 but it is far from excellent. All in all, TSG has shown what they are able to achieve (as a one man show!). So regarding the G6 I dont think you should be sceptical. I have full confidence in them. And before developing for TSW under the pseudonym TSG they were with a very well established development team doing addons for TS.

I'm far more enthusiastic about buying TSG's G6 then DTG's Sherman Hill. SH is geared towards next gen only, if you want the full "authentic" experience anyways..

Regarding TSG "proving themselves," as far as I'm concerned they already have, with engines like the 101, 363, 425, etc. They're on a much higher standard than Skyhook or Rivet. Skhook's 187 was a huge disappointment and Rivet's 204 left much to be desired regarding services..

022F336D-18D9-4194-B27C-993105747968.png These services appeared in the timetable with today’s update on RRO - 19 services for the G6. They seem pretty decent, if perhaps a bit simple. Looking forward to it

Looking very good, I like the little details like seemingly needing to release the handbrakes on the waggons etc. Its this little stuff that counts in my opinion and makes services more in depth. Looking forward to it!

This is the big thing that makes a difference: You have kinda realistic gameplay. You don't drive from A to B - end. No, you have to couple, release brakes, move waggons from here to there etc etc. And these nice little "missions" together with a well done loco (regarding sounds, physics and 3D model) make the outstanding difference.

Absolutely! And while this is offtopic; this is one of the things I am missing so much in TSW. Lets be honest here, TSW has so much more potential than TS1. But it is not really being utilized. If there was a comparable scenario editor or maybe even something to edit the timetables as well there would be so much more cool stuff around. Starting up a loco before its first drive of the day, driving it a few kms to the wagons, coupling and so on. Or the BR101 where we didn't get a cabcar. Would be so cool if you could drive a second one to attach it to the wagon-end of the consist to turn the train around in stations like Munich. Don't really know the english words for these situations, but I think you'll understand what I want to say ^^

I agree, I have always argued for an optional 'career mode' So you could 'live' being a train driver going to work. Getting into trouble if driving is poor. Driving different trains. Making the game fun rather than just A to B.

Looks good so far but i hope if your given the opportunity to wear the orange safety hat you will get to see your character wearing it.Matt put it on but it didn't appear to be on his head in cab.

I hope this wasn't just a DevBuild gimmick. In the Stream, Rivets DB BR 204 was briefly seen in the Train selection. 16382185215781676933405730832765.jpg

It is technically not doable yet in the game. I tried it for sure :)
