Hello, in this thread I will be talking about some issues in the rush hour Dresden route, that have been ongoing since it's release in September. I fear DTG have forgotten about these issues. Personally these bugs really ruin the immersion for me, and although they may not be massive game breaking bugs, they're still annoying for some people. This issues mostly have to do with Passenger Information Screens, and destination screens on trains, which can been broken since release. Here is a list of issues that I would really liked fixed: 1. There is no PIS on the 143 loco at all on AI and playable services 2. The S-bahn PIS goes insanely weird, it has a service at midnight and then says the train is delayed by 500+ minutes. This is a really weird, immersion ruining bug! 3. The S3 PIS at dresden shows nothing, again.. ruins the immersion. 5. The 146 has a weird PIS font, with no line number Those are all the bugs I found in my 10 minute playing time, but with the state of the bugs in this route, there are probably more. DTG.. please take another look at this route, and have a look at the amount of bugs (mostly PIS related bugs) there are, and please fix them. This ruins the immersion for players and is unacceptable that these issues are still not fixed. Thank you for reading my rant
Yeah, it's touching up these issues that takes away the little immersion breakers from my gameplay experience. The bugs are far from large, and don't make anything unplayable, but they do temporarily take me out of the game. I hope these get fixed, along with so many other small bugs or missing features. That's an ongoing process though .
The weird delay time is a function of the Cinderella Syndrome: TSW uses a 24-hour timetable that resets at midnight, so any services nominally en route at 0000 hrs can't "arrive" at a scheduled time. That's an issue that goes far deeper than the PIS display routine. _________________________________________ Not sure why, given the rework of the 143 for DRA, they didn't add the PIS board. In fact, just generally weird considering the the 143 was deployed in passenger service from its first appearance in RSN.
They did add a PIS board, it functions (for example when using the DRA BR 143 on RSN it says 'RE Hagen'), however it just doesn't on those services. A bit weird .
There was actually PIS on the 143 when Dresden first released, but got removed after the Meisen update for some reason..
Important points you bring up there, I really wish that would get fixed before the next route releases, but that's unfortunately wishful thinking
Another Update: When driving from Grosenhain to Dresden, the PIS does not show Dresden Hbf. Instead it just shows a blank space.
Sorry to chime in with something different, but since we are talking about outstanding issues - have the freight trains running in reverse been fixed? I tried to look carefully at the patch notes but so far to me it seems they haven't been fixed?
There is one 146 with a working pis on the loco itself and the other which isnt working. The thing in riesa dresden seems to be a ki bug. The pis on the 143 isnt showing anything, but its working by setting it manually.
