A extension on the route Hauptstrecke Rhein Rhur that we can drive further from Bochem to Hamm. It has a few underground stops and there could be a propper ICE, IC, RB,RE and S-bhan service. and we arent done after a half hour drive.
Unlikely to happen as DTG do not seem to have route extensions or merges in their sights, for various practical and economic reasons.
this would be excellent because the paralell S-Bahn between Bochum and Dortmund includes underground stations at the Dortmund end. Dortmund Hbf is a major hub which is served by almost all of the same services as Bochum, and more. There's also the Dortmund to Lutgendortmund S-Bahn branch which runs mostly paralell - this runs to Dortmund-Dorstfeld rather than the Hbf and continues through the south of the city, ending up at Unna, not far from Hamm. Actually suggested the other half of HRR the Bochum-Dortmund/Hagen. Reason for this the local commuter route S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr S1 goes under the Bochum Langendreer Junction where RRO RSN services join HRR. Use the Deutsche Bahn trip planner website you are going to find out that Dortmund has services to RRO Hagen Vorhalle & Wuppertal Steinbeck. Regarding Deutsche Bahn trip planner the same website that the development team used to make the German route schedules.
