Instead of Tehachapi Pass in the voting they could had picked Cajon Pass instead.

Same thought. That seemed odd. But then, there will be no more country restrictions anyway. So we'll get all US content.

I wonder if there is something they want to fix/change on Cajon Pass...so it will take some additional time?

I don't think so. Also that would probably break scenarios and then there would again be only the US customers that had the original route.
So one after another they'll all come to us. I suppose they check the process of Steam distribution, especially for the previously unbranded released stuff. Remember there were missing textures when ArizonaDivide was first released because something in the GeoPcDx/US/RoW Asset packs was screwed.
I'm fine with that. Marias Pass is most wanted and then I am only missing the original Stevens Pass. Can't stop recommending GN Cascadian route, Stevens Pass in the early 20th century with additional tracks and the northern old Cascade tunnel and a breathtaking grade to Scenic included.

Haven't Cajon Pass always had the BNSF branding tho? It used to be in the game from the start, and then the BNSF-liveried locos which used to be sold separately at some point got added to the US Loco & Asset pack

Yup, GN Cascadian is a fine example of a 3rd party route and well worth it's price tag.

It is from the original Stevens Pass team. Rick Grout, Michael Stephan aka G-Trax/Great Northerner/VHNRR

Yup, I am always ready for more content from G-Trax. The Sacremento Northern is another one that they did and it has a lot of the same kind of appeal as Cascadia. Just can't wait to finally get my hands on Stevens Pass sometime (hopefully early) in the new year.
