Hi, could someone help me why I lose traction force while dring the Br 146 from the non-loco end? I star from Dresden start to acceleratw and then kN drops after a while. If I put the lever back to 0 I can start to raise traction force again but then it drops again.
    Any idea?
Also the line speed markers shiw 0! What is going on?

Without seeing a video I cannot be sure, but it sounds to me like wheel slip in the loco (this will not show in the hud, as you the wheels are not slipping in the cab car).

try applying slightly less tractive effort, and increasing slowly - there will be a maximum kN you can apply dependent on conditions before this kicks in.

As GuitarMan said, the older locos will cut out when trying to apply too much power. Try limiting your traction output to 40kN. You can increase power as you speed up accordingly.

Thank you for both of you.
It is a winter timetable so this going to be the problem, but missing wheel slip symbol on HUD confused me.
    Cheers

The loco will wheel spin in any conditions. I usually find that if I keep the throttle indicator in the square box at or below 7 until I reach 100 km/h it doesn’t occur in dry conditions. That way, I don’t have to monitor the kN meter so much.

Yes, this is a good rule of thumb that has saved me from many wheelslips. Try not to set the power to more than 60% - 70% too soon.
