Finished the side logos..... They came out at 60 layers each. Now time to create the "Norfolk Southern" lettering on each side before moving on to the finishing touches and weathering. I'm also going to do another version with a different identity to the "barcode loco" too.
Well I've taken her out for a shakedown run and I think I'm finished, and happy, with the main part of the NS SD70. I may darken the black down a little more but other than that there's just the weathering to do and maybe a little touch here and there if needed when looking at images of the loco in real life. I'm happy with how the horses have come out and also the lettering which is also all shape layers as I was really daunted by them before I started. I'll definitely add another one or two road numbers to the set for a little variety though.
it does seem to be getting lower, none of my G6 Liveries has spawned yet but that might be a TSW2 preservation issue, however it looks like somebody turned up the custom livery spawn rate on BRD to 80% as most trains are wearing custom liveries!
Finished the NS SD70 pack now...... I've done a total of five locos all very slightly different to each other with regards to what is on each loco and the weathering etc..... As it's only the logos, lettering and numbering that take up all the layers and the rest of the livery being quite basic the layers on all of them are around the same figure of 425-440 layers. Anyhow here they all are..........
Thanks. They have certainly been the most complex I've done. I'm just about to upload them to trainsimcommunity.com so they should be available on there shortly.
Been a little while so decide to add one more to the 395, EMR intercity paied with LNER while TPE sits looking pretty
Has anyone here seen the stuff about the livery designer in todays roadmap yet? If you havent then please do not read it, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
Just the ultimate insult for console users really, those who aren't good at making them, still wont get chance to use a real livery.
Yep that’s really annoying, coupled to the fact we have to pay for the damn feature. Are we allowed to do a de branded livery with zero mention of the company name and logo?
Good. I'm thinking about doing an unbranded version of my liveries just to upload them to the club, then I realized those liveries would show up in my game as well... It's definitely not an easy decision, especially considering the fact of who would ever want a real but unbranded livery?
I'd rather remove it by making it 100% transparent... still doesn't solve the problem that those will spawn on my game as well
Another 8 1/2 hours of my life spent in the livery designer, can we have livery sim world next please? Anyway, london northwestern railway join the London commuter
Yes. The older MSB/RSN version isn't LD-compatible, and the HHL version strikes me as likely to become an orphan, since it's a reasonable prediction that the DRA rolling stock will be the default going forwards.

After an abandoned attempt in June, I’ve re-done the Silverlink 313, but on a 314 from scratch. Hope I’ve done the livery the justice it deserves!
I'm working on this thing, as I'd like to try some F7 action on Sherman Hill, even if the model is not entirely prototypical. Still work in progress, and the front UP logo is quite lame, but it will do for a one-of attempt. Maybe I'll make it better if I have the time and will later on.
The UP shield symbol itself is from trainsimcz's logo pack mod: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/mod-download-tsw-2-livery-editor-logo-pack-1-4.32287/ As for the "wings", I've made them myself, as seen in their poor quality, lol.
