I created this Scenario using all the UP locomotives and trains on the great Sand Patch Grade route. I really liked it and enjoyed. Note: As mentioned on other thread I created, the cab signal of the SD70ACE worked perfectly here! Hope you liked it too. Pictures:
Can you kind of get into how you did this? I'm interested in doing stuff like this, but don't know where to start. Thanks!
bluefish1 You have to use Scenario Planner tool. For each service you must define where each train starts, and where it ends. The software will show you each pre-defined starting and ending points of the route, by DTG. So there you define the path for each train, by selecting a departing and ending point. Furthermore you can select which train you will use on each path. If you also select the "Out of the Rails" feature, you can select any train you have available on the TSW2 for that Scenario. Maximum services you can define for each Scenario are 20. One of them must be defined as the "Player" one. The other 19s will be "AI" ones by default. If some of them are passenger ones, then you have to indicate that. Then it will show you the stations available in the defined put and you can select where you desire that train stops. Hope this be useful You are welcome.
I'm able to work in the scenario planner with no problem. I was more wondering how you got the UP locos into SPG. Did you just install reskins? I'm thinking that's the only way to do it for now. Also, is it possible to export and share a scenario? I noticed a site that offers scenarios for download, but I didn't see anything posted there for SPG. Thanks again!
Not as mentioned I used this feature: "If you also select the "Out of the Rails" feature, you can select any train you have available on TSW2 for that Scenario". Not possible to share or export a scenario... yet! DTG has recently informed they are working on a new function for the sim, that can allow to share liveries and scenarios. But the fact is you must have the same trains than the other person which is sharing the scenario with you. If not "error message" will appear. I guess...
