Thread here: http://railworksamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20250 Looks great, sadly currently no download link but they'll hopefully publish it soon.
This repaint looks amazing! Hopefully many free BNSF repaints will become available once the editor is released as otherwise those of us outside of the USA would only have unbranded locos.
Also, whilst not directly related to this post, are there any plans to set up a 'modding' section on this forum for mods such as this and other mods in development. It would in my opinion make it much easier to find in development mods than at the moment.
Game be like: yo, everything is in this big file. GLHF trying to change anything in there. Modders be like: can’t stop won’t stop! I wonder how long it’ll be before someone is able to get a custom route in using this method :P
I'm more interested in the audio mods to be honest. Some of the engine sounds need some reworking and i know lots of people that make great audio mods. (starting with the horns)
That BNSF livery look awesome on AC4400. And have it attached to CSX just marvellous! Thanks for the news. I really hope the Free Roam means FREE ROAMING throughout the yard and the tracks.
This is amazing! I'm not just talking about the livery (which is good too), I'm talking about the fact that someone has finally figured out repaints in TSW! Some kind of community mods were JUST what TSW needed- and without any signs of an editor, things were looking bleak. I can't wait until he releasis this, and I can't wait to see more of these! I hope he releases a tutorial or something- I want to make some too, lol.
I'll chime in here and say that yes, audio can be modded too. All the sound files are OGG files and seem to have variants based on distance and high or low pitch. The ACS64 horn does in fact have a proper fade-out but it doesn't play in the sim correctly. The CSX horns do not. They cut off just as they do in the sim. I myself am going to try to take a crack at re-skinning one of these units. Possibly the GP40-2 or some freight car.
I honestly have no idea. So far I've only tried doing a reskin of the Autorack car. Getting it back into the sim has a been a nightmare and despite the guide on Railworks america, it's still not going well. I'm trying to verify my game files and see if I can get that fixed first and then I'll try my modded PAK file.

Alright! A bit disappointing that it replaces an existing scheme, but I'm sure that someone will find a way around that. Even still, I have a few ideas that would work fine without replacement.
