Splitting a scenario pack into two parts, freight and passenger ops is a great idea and the $4.99 price per part is very affordable. The freight part is downloading from Steam as I write this.

I have to agree -- I enjoy Freight much more than passenger - especially if there is good switching involved. Will be downloading the freight this evening

So I tried doing the local to hollister and all three times had the same problem. The first instruction to back up and leave the two refridgerated cars on transportation track 1. Each time I uncoupled the two cars and started to move the train forward they recoupled to the train, I am at a loss as what to do.

Hopefully someone has a suggestion what to do never had this issue before.

Hi Michael: That can happen sometimes, especially if the siding has any gradient. Solution: Apply "hand" brakes to the two cars you are dropping off (using HUD wheel brake indicators); then, if necessary, apply a little throttle before releasing the couplers and in that way, the rest of the consist will pull away from the tied-down cars.

I did try and apply the brakes to one of the two cars, but when I clicked on the uncouple the brakes were released on that one car. I will try it this way and see if this works.
