So it's that time again, as the stats for Skyhook Game's next project, Horseshoe Curve, have now been added to the steamdb:

Considering that Tharandter Rampe is most likely be the first add-on we get in 2022, it will be interesting to see how soon this comes afterwards and hopefully, this add-on will fair better than Skyhooks first two attempts in TSW2 so far...

The amount of time it went back in production makes it looking promising.

And the other reason im looking forward to this route: soon skyhook has time for finally fix whats nessecary on the 187 about the systems functionality & turn the wrong placed bogie on the 4400cw. They have to look against each other.

Shouldn't those last two be 44 and 38 miles respectively?

3 in the curve sounds either promising or a gross case of false advertising

...Roll Over!" [The train flips, derailing and you get the dreaded "Scenario Failure" text] ;)

If this route must be modern, I suppose the Gevo is a good choice, at least it's something new. But yet another GP38 ? Even an SD70 variant would have been preferable in my view. Aren't they commonly used as helpers on the Curve?

So forgive me if I'm wrong... I have sandpatch, Sherman, clinchfield and oakville.

Is this my opportunity to buy the same two trains again and drive them round a big corner?

Do we even know if it's running Sherman size consists?

Surely the American players are getting close to scratching their heads and thinking "haven't I bought this train thrice?"'

Well, the ES44 is a new engine, and although it resembles the AC4400 externally it's not at all the same inside.

Officially yes. But my own opinion says 1.5 months for longer trains?

There has to be more on that, called not creating another releasing desaster.
I always like when devs takes their time instead of a rushed out shot, causes only problems and angry players.

I dont mind another gp38, i mean its in ns livery, and the 4400ac is new, so actually a cool thing.

Part of that delay is allowing for Chemnitz to come out; they won't release two at once.

I don’t mind at all. I see myself as paying more for the route than the trains. One loco we haven’t seen before and one will be a re-skin/modification of a prior model, which is pretty standard for DLC in this game. How many times have we seen new routes with re-skinned Electrostars?

Good point the Norfolk Southern ES44AC will then serve as base for CN Oakville Subdivision UP CSX and BNSF versions

East Coastway came out in 2019, with an original 377, so that one doesn't count.

    2020 had none at all.

SEHS has the 375 which was practically
the old 377 with a few tweaks and a reskin, so that one counts.

The BML came out later in the same year, and had the 377, with massive Sound and Feature upgrades (by the latter I mean PIS and such). As for the 387, it's also modified, either from the new 377 or the old one, to be a 387. However because they both came with the same route (which otherwise would have just been the 377 without the 387), I'd only count them as one.

So, 2 releases with reused Electrostars, 3 with Electrostars, and 4 Electrostars.

So my prediction says the DLC would come out about 4-5 weeks from now, at least the first 2 weeks of February, we'll see.

Can't really wait to dig my pocket and get this route!

From what I've read over on the TSC discord, they've would of taken an SD40E over the GP38. (Since the SD40E is set up for helper service)

It would of been nice if the 38 we got was a high nose variant just to change it up a bit, but it is what it is.

I mean... NS probably wouldn't be happy about it, but considering the number of trains they've stringlined directly on Horseshoe Curve... one scenario could be about it for sure :D
