Tomorrow we will be hosting a preview stream of Tharandter Rampe: Dresden - Chemnitz. Or current plan is to show the 612 from one end to the other. A little bit of Railpool and anything else the community would like to see. We are aiming to play on PS5 for this preview. Please let us know in this thread if you have any questions you would like answered or if there are any specific scenery elements you are interested in seeing.
What layers (or substitutions) will be available on this route? I'm aware the G6 is supposed to layer here, but is anything else? Thanks.
What levels of features can we expect for the 612? The tilting and the safety system that goes with it have been announced, how is it implemented and can we force activate it, especially off the rails?
1. Do freight services have the physics featured previously in DRA implemented? // brakes setup etc 2. DRA-like night lighting?
Could whoever is driving (Matt I'm assuming) be relatively slow with setting up the cab before driving please?
I would like to know, if this traction lock bug is fixed by the 143.. because that is the only thing which hurts the 143 so far a bit.
1. Release date? 2. Will the DB BR 612 Have Multiple Units In the Scenario Planner Like This 612+612+612?
Can you summarize, what has changed between the Railpool 185 and earlier versions in game? I'm assuming it's the MSB 185 Model with DRA 185.5 sounds, physics, handling and a new livery. Is that correct? Also: Can you turn of Tilting and/or GNT on the Br 612? Are tilting failures simulated, as they happen irl from time to time? (I assume no for the last one, but asking for curiosity anyway.) And can you explain GNT at all in one of the upcoming streams?
Will the 612 be layered onto any other routes? I believe they run on the diesel portion of Main Spessart Bahn
What about the overhead wires? Will they be in Meißen branch style or the old simple practice? If it is too expensive to build a fully complete cantenary system, would it be possible to use at least ending posts and the new model of the one sided double post with tension rope as it was used in Meißen?
When you are showing us the 612, could you pick a service at a time when we might see this pass us by?
Since Nat had a drive on a stream I think JD should have to do one as well. Perhaps not tomorrows but at least the release day stream like Nat.
will there be any substitutions on other german routes, for example. the db br 612 operates a few services on munich Augsburg. do you think its possible to layer the 612 to do additional services on munich augsburg?
Will the set up time allow enough time to set everything up properly? I can never understand why you don’t give all the routes the same set up time. Some routes you can set the train up properly within the time whilst on others it is impossible. Surely it can’t be that difficult to make them all the same.
Will we get wagons from other routes layered? Also, can't wait to drive my EWS-liveried DB BR 112 on that route!
1. Are you able to add any scenarios or services to the route with the dynamic weather feature from Boston? 2. Will the route feature the rush hour passenger variety and improved behaviour (even if the numbers are lower)? Thanks, and keep up the hard work
Can the locomotives in this route run West German former Deutsche Bundesbahn network Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen RRO RSN HMA and Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr or not?
What have you done to combat the bugs on this route have increasingly increased on many routes? what updates do you have on the red light bugs and game crashing bugs plaguing previous routes
Will the catenary be updated before the final release. It is one of the biggest visual elements holding back this game and the Meißen branch showed a big step in the right direction.
Will reflective signage, prototypical headlight beams and improved night lighting from the Dresden rush hour route be making a comeback in this route?
Can you tell us more about the servie mode in detail please? What unique service patterns are there? What layers and substitution options are available? What does the AI in Dresden and Chemnitz consist of? Are the off world destinations set up properly this time for release? How will the tilting and GNT influence our gameplay? What gameplay elements did you implement for it? How is GNT implemented for HUDless gameplay? Does the AI use the tilting speeds and are they considered for AI generated timings? What changes did you make on the BR 143, the Dostos, the BR 185 and the BR 363 comapred to their last iterations in Riesa - Dresden? How is the PIS set on the BR 612? Does it support line numbers or at least the service type (as long as that's prototypical)? Can you quickly show us Journey mode and the scenarios please? In which years are the route and service mode set? Are there new freight cars included?
How are the differences in speed limit between tilting and non tilting conveyed? Is it hud, track knowledge or dual speed boards?
What changes have been made around Dresden Hbf to reflect the route being set in a different era? Also, this has already been asked, but what layers/substitutes onto this route? And does anything from this route (the RP BR 185.6 in particular) sub onto other routes and their services?
Thanks, folks. We'll take what we can into the stream tonight and answer what we can. (And no, I'm not driving. I will be taking something on in the next couple of weeks though )
I noticed the VVO branded Dostos are not in this DLC, although it runs on the Dresden S3 services. Is there a reason those specific Dostos aren’t being used? (I don’t know much about German stock so I’m sorry if they didn’t use VVO ones back when the route is set )
Will the tilt only work on lines that are ZUB 262 fitted (as per reality), or will it be active everywhere? How are GNT speed limits shown to users who drive without the HUD?
I heard that the time period of this route is different to the Reisa Dresden route. What can you show in the stream that illustrates this difference? How many services does the 612 have and are they all faster ones (as described in today's article) or are there some other types of service like depot moves or stopping services?
Looking forward to the route. Can you share which locos from other routes will swap into services or even provide extra layers?
1. Do we see the narrow gauge coaches from DCZ as an update on DRA too? The yard of Radebeul Ost looks so empty w/o rolling stock. 2. Do we see any kind of branch lines in DCZ? If yes, what are these lines. What are the shunting sidings mentioned in the today`s article?
As Joe said, the MRCE 182 + IC coaches will be an AI Layer for DCZ. Will this formation be available in scenario planner? And if not, can this be done after release?
Yeah the route is set about 10 years ago, the VVO markings weren't a thing back then, so that's accurate. As for my question: How long 612 formations can we see in the timetable? Doubles can be seen in articles, but they often ran in triples and rarely even quadruples. Would be nice to see 1-2 services with 8 coach madness.
On which routes dose 612 layer on? Will it add servises on MSB branch to docks (2 passanger stops)? Will 363 timetable be anything like RSN one?
1. Will this dlc have rush hour passengers ? 2. How long does a 612 service from Dresden - Chemnitz take ?
Which layers and substitutions does the route have? Will the layers be different between old (PS4, X1) and current gen (PS5, XSX, PC)? In your opinion, which area of the route is the most beautiful? Apart from the tilting technique, which difficulties/hurdles did you encounter while creating the route? The first pictures of the route & train were released more than a month ago, which is quite unusual. Was the DLC originally scheduled to be released before the new year? Will there be some small freight branches like the chemical plant on Dresden-Riesa? Where did you get reference material for this route, especially the rural parts? Looking forward to the stream!
If there are any, what are the differences between the DB and Railpool Br185s? Is it just a livery change?
