Wait until Stevens Pass gets released Worldwide then go to the Workshop and download Cajon Pass-Modernized (Final) by sd70aces rule. The route has been completely revamped using Stevens Pass assets and now includes the 3-track main over Cajon Pass itself. You will need both Cajon Pass and Stevens Pass to download the route.

 

Hope Stevens Pass is next then some loco add ons - SD75, SD45-2, GP9 pack, SW1500 pack for examples

 

BNSF loco pack will be nice for scenarios

Especially. The GP38-2 and SD40-2 appear a lot on Sherman in Workshop content. Even if we aren't driving the BNSF stub (which is a bridge going over the actual route, but surely able to be utilized for shunting purposes or for entering the yard at the start of a scenario), they can just be planted in the siding as you enter Cheyenne.

You are failing to see my point. It's like if we went to a German forum and started talking in English, and no one is able to communicate. Are you going to tell them hey, look at Google Translate? So it doesn't look like Stevens Pass is releasing tonight. Was hoping it would, still have £25 in hand from christmas.

Yes I'm waiting for the Marias Pass addons (BNSF pack, F7 Empire Builder).

 

Me too, these DLC would enhance the game and as they are available in the US would expect there to be very little work involved in their release compared with the "checking" of a route of some age albeit welcome when it (they) come.

 

I hope the next BNSF pack is BNSF locomotive pack addon, which includes bn emd f45, gp38-2, sd40-2, BNSF gp38-2 and sd40-2.

There are minimal visual differences, if any between the FP45/F45 and GP38/GP38-2, but BN never had any FP45s. Only ATSF and Milwaukee did.

yes but in an other livery and the bn and bnsf locopacks is better if you want locomotives.

 

Just for clarification, the GP38 in Stevens Pass is in Ex-BN Whiteface and BNSF H1 liveries. The BNSF loco pack one comes in BN Standard and BNSF H4 with nose mounted headlights. The racetrack comes with BNSF H4 with low ditchlights and cab mounted headlight, and another Ex-BN one. Montana Hi-Line comes with BNSF H1 too.

 

Personally I would want the locopacks first, though I'm not gonna buy es44dc+ sd40-2 because its a waste, es44dc comes with marias pass, and sd40 comes in loco pack.

 

Yep, loco pack seems to be the most wanted here, anyway Stevens too.
Also it would be nice to get re-branding of the unbranded stuff, like Hi-Line or Arizona Divide

 

I would only get Stevens for the Gp38-2 whiteface ex-bn and the route, I already have the es44dc.

 

It comes with the US Loco & Asset Pack too, so you probably already have them

 

AFAIK they are not the same model, as the one in the US Assets pack is very dated

The ES44AC+SD40-2 DLC is the same as the US Loco & Asset pack one. The ES44DC available standalone and included with a Marias, Stevens, Hi-Line and Tehachapi is a newer model.

 

Yeah I think the US assets were made by Kuju in 2008 or something like that, if not earlier IIRC

Nope, it's an Es44ac. It wasn't originally included with the US Loco & Asset Pack but was accidentally bundled with it when it received an update a while ago now. This is because they share the same directory, Kuju/RailSimulatorUS

How do you know if that was the reason? As stated before the ATSF F7 is not shipped with Cajon Pass. Maybe it was because BNSF owns the major part of the track. Anyway it'll be released worldwide soon. DTG, no reason to keep us waiting anymore!
