Hi all I've been downloading some liveries tonight, thought I'd hop aboard and try them and low and behold can I find them. All I can see is the front of the train and I cannot see what is what. I'm sure I saw someone was working on a mod to put the train outside , side on , on the selection screen. Am I imagining it? If anyone can hook me up that would be much appreciated. Thank you. Also, has anyone else wondered why we always have to choose a route first. Is there a way to choose a train, choose a livery and then decide where to drive?
I was hoping to play Train Sim tonight, not "spot the difference" or "guess who" Here's another question, why are these pictures not dynamic to see the livery? Imagine you have one train you love with 20 liveries all named similarly because that's how you roll. The time needed to find the one you want. It's getting silly now.
There's a mod for that too: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...tches/i1020-origin-dlc-markings-on-train-logo. This adds to the menu screen (under the TOC logo) the route the loco came from, so you can tell the GEW from ECL version, or the MSB from the DRA. Unfortunately, no such luck for illustrating alt-liveries via LM or download in the thumbnail tiles.
