Having not used TSW2 for some time I needed to delete and reinstall it but now it has me starting at the beginning. [1] Do I have to go thru all the introductions to each of the types of trains again? I played the Class 47 introduction on the WSR and having sat for 8 mins waiting for the main air to reach 140psi I do the short shunt and the game is happy - then it wants me to do the same introduction again - why? [2] On the Koln - Aachen run I start the tutorial at Koln on the ICE3 which is fine up to the point of the instructions saying "move the (power) handle full forward - except the doors are still open and we are not going anywhere No in cab controls for closing the doors I'm used to TS2022 so this is still a bit strange
Go to settings and check 'auto-load journey' is off. Also, if you don't want to do them, you can skip the tutorials by hitting esc and going back to the main menu. On the ICE, the door control is here, to the right of the throttle. However, I've just tried to do the route intro tutorial, and it's locked. For some reason it doesn't tell you to close th doors, nor does it do it automatically.
Isn’t the game save stored in the Documents/My Games hierarchy, so that should still be there unless manually deleted after the uninstall.
Managed to work out how to pick a scenario and did the HST drag on the GWE. The HUD is irritating as it gives no idea when you will arrive And having arrived early I'm supposed to sit there and watch nothing go past for 8 mins - Why?
You might get more enjoyment out of running a service from the timetable, less faff of having to follow the instructions that way.
