No, it’s not. AFB in all BR185s are not so well simulated. If you want to see how the AFB should work check it out on the BR101. Can’t say anything to the rest of your points, have not tried the new route yet…
What I found is that you need to press the acknowledge button longer, until it makes a sound, then it definitely acknowledges the signal/speed restriction etc.
Lol thank you, don't know much about German Content, but that was a bit silly for me, not sure how I missed it, I went through everywhere and somehow didn't even see the diagrams of the Lights haha.
I don't know, I've tried various ways, holding it before the Magnet for 1 second, holding it after the Magnet for 2 seconds, holding it before and after for 2 seconds, simply pressing it before and after. Nothing seems to work. Video shows me getting annoyed and literally just holding it.. but every time frame I have tried, does not work.
& this if You prefer to read about it Train_Sim_World_Hauptstrecke_Rhein-Ruhr_Driver's_Manual_EN.pdf (steamstatic.com)
I know how PZB works, I use it, however, it doesn't seem to be working for the 185 in the recent release, no matter when I acknowledge, or for how long I hold it. I get the Brakes applied.
Hmm not sure. Just about to head to work, so will try other Services when I get home. Thanks for trying to help though =] Might also try verifying the game files as well in case it's just corrupted files.
And you don't have to hold it for so long. Just press [PgDn] right after passing the active magnet (long enough too hear the sound)
You‘re not just holding it down though, right? You do need to release again within the alloted time window. If you‘re still holding the key down when the time window ends, you haven’t successfully acknowledged the sign. I‘ve driven the double headed scenario so far on PS5 (PS5 version) and PZB worked as intended.
I’m experiencing that problem too, except I play on Xbox Series X. Pressing the ‘B’ button on my controller to acknowledge PZB doesn’t do anything, I’m also suffering the same problem with ALL the Riesa - Dresden DLC trains.
Just checking - you are aware of Dresden-Riesa’s smart PZB button, right? (Pressing (B) only acknowledges PZB if there is anything to acknowledge. Otherwise, it only resets SIFA)
Just got home from work, and had the Game Files Verified, so far everything seems to be working correctly now. Not sure why I didn't try that at first because it's always my Go-To when something doesn't work. Thanks for the help though =]
Nah I was just pressing at first as I do with past Content. Was only Holding it as someone suggested that, and then that turned into frustration when it still didn't work lol, but yeah I have never had to hold it in anything else. Have the problem sorted now though after Verifying my Game Files. Thanks for trying to help =]
I thought that was just a bug with the talent 2? And tbh I don’t think it should be a case of being a “smart” switch where it’ll only allow you to press ‘B’ when there is something to acknowledge because chances are you’ll press it at the right time and the game won’t recognise you acknowledged it and then you’ll get the brakes applying. I’ll test what you’re suggesting with a few trains including the BR442 (because I miss driving it) and see if it works, but honestly I hope they get rid of this “smart” switch and just make it like the non-Dresden trains.
