With the talk in another thread about TfW I decided to give the Bristol - Swansea line a run and wondered at first why I had not played it for so long. As soon as I head out of Newport towards Bristol the answer is there The Signalling on the line is RUBBISH. The first Junction signal that takes you to Hereford or Severn Tunnel Jn has no route indicator Approaching Severn Tunnel Jn there is no warning of a diverging route And when you come out on the English side there are loops without indicators for trains going in to them I remember post about this when it came out - surprised they have not done anything with it
I wonder if they will include a fix in the re-release. Something tells me no. It would be great though.
What re-release? The route started as Bristol - Cardiff then became Bristol - Swansea When they needed to remove the Arriva Branding the route was re-released AFAIK they don't have anything else to do on it - unless you know better?
No, I was just hoping they would include fixes for what you mentioned in the newly-branded copy we will be receiving on the 20th. I suppose all they did was update the branding and liveries but you never know.
The route coming on the 20th is the North Wales Coastal The route with the Signalling Problems is the South Wales Coastal - opposite end of the country http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/train-simulator-2021_252726#8/52.424/-2.780
Whoops. My bad. I have South Wales Coastal both versions. Thanks for the heads up about the signalling.
