It looks strong that we get a track from Freibug. This is often requested here or in the neighboring forums RG etc. It would be an absolute sentsation to see a route from this beautiful city! The Höllentalbahn and the Rheintalbahn would most likely make sense.

    The Höllental Railway
The Höllentalbahn is a single-track 35km long line that connects the southernmost city of Freiburg with Neustadt. Since December 2019, electric railcars of the manufacturer Alstom the BR 1440 can be found here. These run in the bwegt design as S-Bahn lines S1, S11, S10. The special thing here is that there are two timetables once one from Monday - Saturday where ALWAYS in Titisee a train part is disconnected from or connected and where the trains actually run in 30min intervals. As well as a Sunday and Fiertag timetable. Here no trains are coupled but there is an unbeatable 20min interval on the entire route!
See more about the famous steil ramp Höllental here:

    The Rheintal Railway
The Rheintal Railway is one of the busiest routes in all of Germany and Europe! There are two ways to build one. Once Freiburg - Offenburg or Freiburg - Basel. Personally, I have a strong tendency towards Freiburg - Offenburg. As this has a very interesting section. Here in the RE service of the Desiro HC partly BR 146 as RB of the Siemens Mireo as well as in long-distance traffic the BR 101, BR 401, BR 403, BR 406 and the BR 412, but also the Italian Pendelino can be found.

You can also bring that route across the Rhine River into France just look at TS22 Rheintal bahn Karlsruhe-Offenburg/Strasbourg. Check my signature for the International section Appenweier-Strasbourg Railway. For Freiburg Am Breisgau to Offenburg section you can bring it to the French side by making Appenweier-Strasbourg Railway and Freiburg Mulhouse Railway.
