EDIT: Seems that Removing Dresden Riesa DLC "solves" the issue and now services and timetable runs work Hi. Something strange is going on with timetable runs in the new route for me . When selecting any timetable run with any loco on any GFX setting I get an immediate crash do desktop of UE giving me the following nice explanation: unhandled exception: exception_access_violation reading address 0x0000000000000000 I have never experienced any crash at TSW2 before on any other routes. What is strange is that all the training and scenarios works absolutely perfect on Tharandter Rampe - it is ONLY crashing when trying to start any timetable run or explore on foot no matter what station to spawn on. I have searched a bit for clues and some were having luck with disabling sound, login out of dovetail live, de installing game and DLC's - reinstalling everything, verifying install files (I am on EPIC), upgrading, downgrading of GFX drivers, sound drivers, disabling enabling sound.... I have also tried to run with absolutely minimal GFX settings, windowed and non windowed modes, engine.ini on standard. Disabling all O/C's on my PC made zero difference as well. Absolutely nothing I have tried makes me run any timetable runs and I have no clue how to get it fixed. It will be helpful If anyone have a clue on what I could try next. Thanks C
Any mods installed that could be conflicting? Chemnitz has been rock solid here running a selection of timetable and scenario trips under Journey Mode. In fact, even the save game has held up (so far!).
Ok thanks - I have no mods installed - plain vanilla TSW2 with plain DLC´s In last effort to try to solve it I completely reinstalled windows 10 from scratch (not repairing but FULL reinstall), - after all updates were installed I setup epic and downloaded TSW2 and all the DLC’s again. So completely fresh install without any reminiscent of the past. No change at all i instant crash when trying any timetable run with any loco on Tharander … Then I upgraded to windows 11 - again crash at any attempt to start a timetable run so still same issue???… DTG - hope you have some ideas on why this is happening - my PC is rock stable and never crashes any game since I build it a year ago, - it runs MSFS, DCS, COD etc flawlessly and the new install today is done with everything completely stock and untouched from a tweaking perspective. Only thing installed is EPIC and TSW2.. Thanks for any help and suggestions. Cheers C
It's weird, the same started happening to me today - but only my DB BR 363 are affected. Edit #1: now all my timetable runs are crashing, same as your story. Only scenarios/trainings/save game works.
Just seen this is the PS subforum https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/dresden-chemnitz-crashes-with-error-ce-108255-1-ps5.51034/ Similar crashes to what you describe but uninstalling Dresden fixes it for them. Might be worth a try if only to rule it out or give DTG a starting place to fix??
