Woahh definitely MORE US freight route, since now BNSF licensing applied for worldwide future releases.

I don't know really, but i hope it will be a surprise. Does the expansion pack, mean they will update the route such as extending the line?

It's basically a gameplay pack, just repainted locos with additional services/scenarios included. Nothing more.

Last month (Dec. 9), Matt said the BNSF license that returned to TS1 also implies to TSW as well.

    Yes you are right!
The fact is what you mentioned.
But despite of that there is lot of forum members complaining about the lack of new UK routes.
According to the last Roadmap stream, there is only one for this year at this time!
But it will be a very special one. As it will be the first "steam" route of the game! So very interesting!

You are right the bugs and fixes are affecting almost all routes and trains.
There are on German and US too.

Of course I am not sure about they get more sales on German routes. It is just a speculation.
Due to last year there have been lot of them, including DLCs.

What for me it is not doubt is about German trains are more challenging - and entertaining - to drive due to they advanced safety systems.
PZB / LZB / SIFA but also AFB even this is not direct safety it allows you to not surpass speed limits.
Not available on UK or US routes with just the "Alerter"

Good for you if you prefer safety systems, for me they do my head in. Having someone say 'SIFA' all the time would make me want to uncouple the train, I do use the AWS though. US trains look good but I'm really only interested in the UK ones especially the BR. Blue ones. I love driving the class 101 for example, to me they seem unique in TSW2 but as I have none of the Euro/US trains I wouldn't know for sure.

SIFA lights up in the dashboard display a few seconds before any audible alarm is given. So most times you don’t hear anything. Unless you are on console where SIFA and PZB acknowledge unfortunately share the same button, meaning you’ll constantly hear “Zugbeeinflussung“ on the locomotives using that to confirm the command. My ears have developed a grudge against that.

Oh, that's the good version, on the TRAXX and ICE's. On locos like the 143, it's just an earsplitting, migraine-inducing buzzer.

LIRR, Boston and Sherman Hill have ACSES + ACS. Except it doesn't yet work properly in the game.

LIRR doesn't have ACSES, just ATC.

I wonder if the license would also allow Burlington Northern and/or Santa Fe related content being produced for some nice historic routes. Just daydreaming about seeing a Santa Fe 'Super Chief' in TSW2 some day...
For some reason, I have never liked the BNSF orange/yellow livery so much, but I have always found BN's green and Santa Fe's blue/yellow scheme to be more appealing to me. Anyway, apologies for going off-topic for a moment.

Seeing how TS has branded BN and ATSF content, I don’t see why the TSW BNSF license wouldn’t permit use of their fallen flags.

After all, they've done Clinchfield, now merged into CSX.

    Thanks solicitr for the information.
I do not know about those systems.
Could you please provide a brief description of them?

dhekelian... in my case I do not use SIFA!
For the same reason as you.
But I use PZB and LZB where available.

For the first time I used the "Alerter" on SD70ACE of Sherman Hill..
But just for one ride for the full route length.
I noticed it is much less "intrusive" then SIFA, requiring your reply on more longer period of time.

Yes, but the discussion is about DTG's release strategy. Third parties do what they like.

Not sure about that. As the publisher, I would think that DTG controls the release process and timing of their own and third party products. Prove me wrong?

Oh, that's certainly true. But the 3P decide what they're going to develop (licenses permitting), they don't stick to DTG's UK-US-DE rotation.

Just wanna say I love the animated crossings. I’ve only come across them on Sand Patch so far, but it’s great. They even added the little rebound gates do when they go vertical. Haven’t seen how it goes when it’s activates yet, but I’m sure it’s just as realistic. Well done!

The biggest thing I hope they release soon is the core fix on PS5 with the number of DLC's installed. Now own all of them up to date, but seriously struggling as to which ones to delete and redownload. So many German routes, so when I want to play a German route I require all german DLC installed to get all layers, then when I want to play a British one vice versa. I am now spending more time deleting and reinstalling DLC. It blows my mind that it looks like their only focus is just releasing more and more DLC, yet now technically my PS5 is unable to play anymore new DLC now.
I am starting to have a sinking feeling they have given up on TSW2 and have the fix in TSW3

Sony - play has no limits. Except for an arbitrary 64GB limit on DLC :D

Sorry. I'm not German but the 232 was too long off from being released which is probably why it was removed. It hasn't been worked on for a very long time and won't be releasing any time soon. It's coming after their route and the 420 which is coming after the route. And tsg has other stuff to do with dtg. So it's going to be at least end of this year or early next year and will most likely be added back closer to release
