The divisional playoff game just finished (in sudden-death overtime) between Buffalo and Kansas City was the greatest game I have ever witnessed, and I've been watching nearly fifty years.
I'll have to check that one out, as well as the 49ers beating Green Bay. Amazing that all four divisional games were won on the last play (the other three on last-second field goals). Quite a weekend for football.
Watford vs Harlow Town in the 4th round of the FA Cup 1980. Watford were in the second division (one below what is now the Premier League). Harlow were non league, a couple of divisions below the league with part time players. Harlow had already beaten a couple of League sides including Leicester City. Harlow went 1-0 up and held their led until half time. Watford scored 4 goals in quick succession at the beginning of the second half. However, Harlow then came back and scored 2 more goals and then the Watford goalkeeper handled the ball outside his area and had to pull off a brilliant save to stop Harlow equalising. I am a Watford supporter and was relieved to hear the full time whistle.
Personal story for you and Watford does have the M1 Derby against Luton Town the game has southern rail derby Crystal Palace Selhurst to Brighton Falmer. Here's one for an American High School Football Game Easton, PA vs Phillipsburg, NJ 2021 my favourites were the 2010 & 2014 Games during a snowstorm. Video 2010 game highlight overtime
Buffalo really screwed the pooch IMO, they did just about everything wrong on KC's last possession and it was almost too easy for Mahomes to get them within field goal range.
You say tomayto. I say tomarto. Let’s call the whole thing football. Any Aussie Rules (footy) fans in the house?
