Hello! I’m looking to build a modern West Cornwall route in scenario planner- is there any way to find a complete timetable for the line? Also- what trains could possibly be repainted to represent modern ones? I’ve already started work on a Crosscountry repaint for the BR 442, and I’ve got the Great Western Class 150 done, so what others could I need? Thanks!
That should be HST Class 43 Cross Country and GWR. Required DLC for this is GWML London Paddington to Reading
Sadly I’m on Xbox so I can’t edit the Class 43, so I settled with the 442 painted to look like a 221, which also runs the route if I’m not mistaken.
ive seen pictures of a southwest trains class 158 at penzance, im not sure if it was a regular service but it might be neat to include with a SWT Class 150
Really? I can’t find anything. Got any photos of it? Also, have they done anything with South Western Railway? Unless there’s a way to find the old First liveries on XBOX, the route kinda has to be set in the modern day.
Quick update to this, I believe South West Trains services ended in 2009, so wouldn’t be compatible with a modern line.
Maybe the night rivera class 47 and mk2s would be good? I know the 47 isnt out yet but adam says there's somebody working on it right now, so maybe do it in a years time?
Sounds like a plan if the carriages can be repainted to a high enough standard. What do they normally look like?
For me, this is my list: Great Western Express • Class 43 • Class 166 • Class 66 (if freight is added) West Cornwall Local • Class 150 (FGW Debranded) • Class 150 (GWR) Southeastern High-speed • Class 395 (As GWR 800)
I can easily do all of those bar 395- I play SEHS consistently and to see a random GWR 800 every so often would… ruin the immersion a little. I’m very happy you thought of the FGW debranded 150- I’ve made it already but I just like to see that train brought up in conversation! Anyway, all I need now is a timetable- any ideas?
I haven't a clue. Probably worth having a look on the GWR Website, or just go on a custom one. The only thing that annoys me with Cornwall's Scenario Planner is that Penzance can't be filled and that the St. Ives branch is awful to set-up. Other than that, I'd just do whatever you feel like.
Hello again! How do you set up routes properly- is there no way to set different trains running from the same platform at different times of day?
Sadly no, the best way of doing things is to have trains start at different stations down the line. So long as they don't clash with the player. Scenario Planner is very limited in that way, as every train is spawned at the start point as the scenario starts, waiting to go.
