I was driving a 47 into St Erth station on a express run, and hit the breaks hard, as I was going a little quick, and managed to stall the engine?

I put the reverser to engine and restarted it.

    Has anyone else encountered this?

Yes, I have done this before, not sure of the technical term but it happens when I forget to set the throttle to idle or off with heavy braking. I've also been able to stall the 101 but can't remember how.

You stall the 101 when you move the reverser from one direction to the other while under power. Took me a few times of doing it to figure it out but have got it down that I can restart both engines and carry on without losing much speed
