https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/ste...eg_Nord_Driver's_Manual_-_EN.pdf?t=1534338379 RSN Manual now available
The manual (thanks to NorthRail1 for the link) includes what strikes me as a very thorough explanation of the signalling system, for which I hope there is also a tutorial. As usual, there's no description or even so much as a title of scenarios or sessions: just a brief mention that they exist. Ah, well, tomorrow should be arrival day.
I'm pretty certain Matt said on the preview stream that there is no such tutorial. I think it was felt that it would be too complicated.
Soo... it being complicated means that you DON'T need a tutorial? That's... just not how things work...
Matt said on the stream that a PZB tutorial would be better in the manual as an in-game tutorial would be too complicated and would require re-starting every time you make a mistake so would be impractical also.
That's not how Matt explained it. The main reason is that the procedures are time restricted and complex. It is a bit hard to try to explain something and at the same time, time is running. Maybe they could have solved it, but I understand the decision.
Pretty funny to watch these fellows try to get a freight train moving -- evidently, they had neither read the manual nor run the tutorial. Good grief! They're just like most of us!
