is main line 1 word or 2? any on too East Coast Main Line: London Kings Cross - Peterborough, In the Modern Day. The 72 Mile Section from well as stated was too a route from the Original TSC, the original route holds a Special Place in my heart, being one of the First routes I got back when I started playing TSC, i remember having a lot of fun on this route and NEC: NY - NH, so im here to suggest representing it in TSW2 along side my Previous Newcastle - York suggestion. Locos Overview: The National East Coast HST: Only today have i learned that the HSTs in the original route are in National East Coast livery just with no Branding, that would make a neat little secondary livery to add, these can run well High speed express services nothing more to Say. These units can also come in LNER Livery. BR Class 91: I Deviated from the Original here and decided instead of the Class 801 like the Original, ill put the Class 91, the Class 91 is an Interesting electric Loco, most prominently the Second cab is not streamlined instead being a Blunt End, this would be interesting as depending on which was is first, your top speed would be slightly different, these units can run HST 225 Services with MK4 Coaches and DVTs. The units also came with names so it would be nice to see that represented. BR Class 365 in First Capital: The Class 365 returns again this time in First Capital operating services out of London The King is Crossing, mostly Suburban services however, these units will fill the roll of Suburban units nicely, and fits with the Original. DLC: Hitachi Class 800/801: Nothing really differs except the 801s have One Diesel Engine in a Coach for emergency use, as such i grouped them Together, these units can ya know run fast expresses, I know they are highly requested but I Wished to make way for the Class 91 instead cause I think they are more Interesting Plausible Layering; Some of these locos can Layer out especially the Class 91 and HST. NTP Can bring Railtours and Other ECML Modern routes can bring more locos and EMUs. Owners of this and my Previous East Coast Main Line: Newcastle - York Late 70s/early 80s | Dovetail Games Forums, can possibly unlock a New timetable taking us back to the Late 70s with the Deltics HSTs and all the other fixins to be Expected. and Reverse cause why not : ) Ending: I Knew when planning this suggestion i should do another section covered by TSC since the research of it is already there it would be as simple as recreating the route, well anyways bye im done here today.
I personally think this is a must especially with the FCC 365 Mabey the class 317 or 321 to come as an add on A reskin on the 313 could be nuce
Time to bring this classic TS 21 route into TSW2 distance is 76 mi 121km longer than original Riesa-Dresden by 15-16 km 9-10 mi. Also the 801 at 801 scenario can now be replicated on TSW2 if made. HST can be reskinned into LNER for this route. Freight locomotive class 92
Yes. Do I need to say more? I don't think so. I would love to see this, with an Class 800/801 as standard instead of the HST
LNER Azuma livery Possibly with this amazing LNER Tartan livery as a random chance livery (picture by the amazingly talented Tom Connell)
Good suggestion. You could also include the Class 387, possibly Class 700 and Class 717 trains that also serve this route. Class 387 in Great Northern colours used on the London Kings Cross - Peterborough route - Used to operate on this service, I'm not sure if they still serve this route. Class 700 (if DTG can obtain the licence for these trains). Class 717 on the Northern City Line from Moorgate to Welwyn Garden City and Hertford.
I just fell in love with that photo, it looks like one of those photos that DTG uses to represent their DLC. hahaha.
It's made by the same person that does the TSW pictures (that's why I used it ) very worth checking out his Twitter (and worth a follow if you're on Twitter) https://twitter.com/TomTheDoodler/media?s=20
In that case it may be an announcement of things to come. I mean it completely as a joke hahaha. But... who knows!
Saw those and he also made 4VEP perfectly suited for Southern Region routes ECW SEHS and BML also on Tom's Twitter. The ones that fit this are a Class 91 IC 225 drawing or Class 801/800 which will show up on the loading screen for ECML South London Peterborough,
I absolutely agree with everything in this post. I’d love to see the branch to Whitemoor yard at March too but I figure a total of 90miles would be too much for DTG
I would love that, it's a poster (in my original post) LNER commissioned for the launch of the Azuma's between Edinburgh and London so would be the perfect type of picture for TSW. I've added the original poster and two of the others below And some more just because there amazing
I would also love this route as well, especially because of the main terminal London King Cross, and the other train that run on this route. I wonder how the team is going to tackle this if they make the route.
Kgx to pbo. upvote Agree Would pay more for a joe time table Intercity Class 66 Class 700 Sign me up, put a paid layers pack Take my house. I’m there
Now THIS is what I'd call a great collectable for the route! Great route too though, would love to see ECMl in the game!
What perplexes me is why the most requested routes appear not to be worked on unless these are longer routes being done in secrecy to arrive later with a much longer dev time. More coming to Pbo too https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk...ad-with-peterboroughs-bid-for-rail-hq-3565242
I'd be more than happy to see a 387 on this route. It would be a wasted opportunity to not have it imo. They're the primary traction on the fast services from King's Cross to Ely and King's Lynn. Plus it would be nice to have a route in TSW2 where we could fully unleash the 387. Feels like you're having to hold them back on BML, although that's in part due to their inferior performance under third rail.
You are aware of the absolute mess they made of the class 700 sounds in TS22? It was so bad, there was a patch put up by community members on the ATS site.
Not aware of that since I don't touch the TS22 section of the forums frequently as TSW 2. To get the Class 700 sounds correct looks like DTG can use the patch sounds for TSW 2 version as part of the Rush Hour train pack. That pack if made is comprised of NEC Boston-Providence Avelia Liberty HSP-46 Riesa-Dresden ICE-T also found in TS22 & Class 700 BML
Four Locos? Two for Boston, one of which isn't even in service? No chance. It would be NEC: Acela Express (Original) // DRA: ICE T // BML: 700.
Sorry and I was thinking of the current 2022 timeframe on NEC. Speaking of Class 700 once it's made for BML as part of Rush Hour Train pack that needs to do Kings Cross Peterborough services as a layer.
