    Hello chaps

Anyone know which is the best rods, reels and line to get or dosent it really matter. Is it just self preference.

Oh and any tips on bait and rigs would be nice or is it just a matter of sling it out and wait

Im currently using a 11 foot rod personal preference, Im using a 4.1.1 reel which has been alot better than previous reels, Im using the 25 lbs breaking strain supernatural line which holds alot more tension without breaking. Personally sweetcorn is a good bait for alot of smaller/medium sized fish to hit quickly, But if you want those monsters 20mm popup tiger nuts are the way to go, Hope that helps? Can ask any questions you want to as im online right now ill do the best to help you out.

I'm still using the default rod and reel. I have caught a few boss fish with 10lb line mono. I use large and double sweetcorn.

You can just throw it out and wait but the big fish seem to be in close at 7yards , so stalking is the best for the big fish. Look for the bubbles and do a short cast.

You're welcome. The default rod works with sweetcorn

The thick line is meant to stop the little fish but it doesn't (bug)

    Im using 15lb mono/braid atm.

When I used to play on the xbone I would 95% use 15lb line because if you were playing a fish & you got a bite on the other rods you would lose them quicker (throwing the hook) using stronger line.
I dont know if it still works that way as I havnt tried stronger line yet.

Bait wise for carp/catfish I would use popped up tigernuts.
