I missed a SIFA alert on the ICE BR406 and now can’t start it again. I’m sure I’ve been able to before, the difference this time being I’ve started using AFB. I’ve turned AFB and SIFA off and the train still won’t move. Is there something I’ve missed? Thanks.

I have not used SIFA much, and not at all in a while, but I take it you have acknowledged it? Another thing to try is putting reverser into neutral for a few seconds. Just thought worth a try if you have not done that already.

The brakes should have released after you acknowledged SIFA.

Thanks. It was definitely brake-related; managed to get it going again!
