I can't help but express my frustration that more than a month after the release there's still no word about any potential patches/updates coming to this route. Missing level crossings, cabcar stuck in Freiberg, Railpool loco issues, cabcar lights... Hope we don't have to wait 2 years until the preservation crew fixes it? Would be nice to hear anything from DTG on this.
Agreed, I have asked multiple times on the roadmap threads but this point is getting completely ignored, so I'm afraid it is more on the 2 years side of things, if at all... Which is even stranger, since according to DTGs own logic they are currently not working on any German DLC, so why not use this down time to fix DCZ
Well, we aren't even getting fixes anymore - it was quite some time ago when we had a patch. If DTG keeps focusing on new products, rather than fixing recent releases... Well, I have to say that your business model is doomed to fail, kind Sirs.
The headlights being stuck on on the cabcar when it's at the trailing end is the biggest immersion breaker. Which I believe can be fixed by changing the train setup.
Overall i enjoy dcz, yes there are small bugs like with every new route. The weird part for me is why they release routes with open railway crossings again, while adam is putting a lot of time into making them right in older routes? I think DTGs development process needs an update too.
It just makes me sad, imagine if that's the best you can bring to the table at your workplace. I'd surely get a P45 the next day. DCZ wasn't their first route, how can someone miss these things?
The silence is deafening. Guess that answers the question. No intention to address issues. Sad and disappointing.
With the current qa backlog, I wouldn't hold your breath on seeing a patch anytime soon. Probably will be an update next year at this point
You're talking about a route that was released just a few weeks ago. The rest of us are still waiting for bug fixes for routes released > 6 months ago. Take a number and go to the back of the line, buddy!
I play a lot of games, indie titles of all sorts etc. Obvious issues like these are normally fixed in a week, or within a matter of days. The fact that they 'abandon' these routes/locos doesn't change the fact that we all paid full prices for unfinished products. On a stream, Matt promised like twice that they'd look into these 313 problems... Guess the machine that gives you these numbers didn't pass QA at DTG.
Well, Chemnitz, they fixed some crashes; Sherman if you want a more substantial list: This was released a week after Sherman.
On Clinchfield, they fixed the brake-setup and number-plate bugs fairly quickly. But nothing else, and nothing since.
