After being on this forum for a bit I still haven't given a proper introduction, so here is my introduction. My name is William (I prefer being called by my username on the forums). I'm an autistic male who lives in Australia and I love trains, when I was younger my grandparents house had a narrow guage diesel railway that went behind the house, my grandfather built a platform for me to watch the trains go past. And that's how my love of trains was born, I just loved hearing the diesels horn blow at the crossing nearby and hearing the noise of the engine as it went by. I'm a big fan of US freight and UK passenger operations, and have had this game since December 2013! (Back then I was too young to understand how the game works, so I would be crashing the train and passing red signals all the time. Oops!) So far I've definitely been enjoying interacting with the people on this forum, it's nice to be in a community who likes trains like I do.
So then Blazin, a late welcome. I've diagnosed myself to have some sort of Asperger syndrome, and for feeling good I have my world of trains and railroads. And congrats for the screenshot competition, where did you get the ES44DC Heritage from? It is not appearing in the store for me (I know it was once bundled with Pacific Surfliner, asked DTG but got no reply.) Is it available in Australia?
Thanks, and the ES44DC is not available in Australia currently, I bought it back in 2014 when it was still available worldwide.
Blazin, I don't think it's sensible that you publicly state you're violating this website's terms of service. See Dovetails' Terms of Use (dovetailgames.com) Section 16. And it's not wise to reveal you're a child. Do your parents know you are doing this?
Alright, I didn't realise it was a bad idea to reveal my age, I removed it, and I apologise, I seemed to have missed that on the Terms of Service. And yes my parents do know I'm doing this, they are happy for me that I can interact with people who also enjoy trains like I do.
It’s a hobby and it’s all about enjoyment and learning while we do it. If during the doing we are able in any way to give help or pleasure to others, in our pictures, contributions or comments then all to the good.
