No, the ES44AC I think is with Stevens. I think the stock is identical to that on Marias, in fact. I have been hoping these last items show up this week. But we're hearing nothing. About as much as we heard about Cajon, in fact.
Not exactly. For Stevens they took Marias Passes' ES44DC and slighty upgraded it (fixed wiper and added InputMapper for Cablight "L" key which is not in the core keymapper. In MP you have to flip the switch to toggle CabLights.)
Fair enough. My point is that it's the same, or similar, base train. There were different devs (G-Trax did Stevens), so it does not surprise me that they changed the function of the train somewhat.
Oh yes, I meant that Stevens was my most wanted BNSF DLC, and then the SD70v2. Sorry if it was misread as English is not my first language.
DTG Jamie Hello Jamie, any news on why you're still holding back the last 7 US-only DLC? What can we expect?
Never more pleased to be wrong. My cup runneth over and if anyone complains about the Textures, the sounds the horns they can go forth and multiply.
This is the problem with having discussions in multiple threads. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...-releasing-worldwide.49658/page-8#post-465596
That indeed surprised me as well. Maybe BNSF gets its own attention in sales due to volume, and isn't part of some other sales? Then again, they probably thought keep sales off for one or two in order to capitalize on "re-release" attention, they kinda did that with SWC when it needed unbranding and now it's down to better discounts again.
A question because I´m a little confused. In first post: "Below is a list of BNSF branded products" followed by some routes listed. But: for example the Arizona Divide route. Was there a BNSF logo that was unbranded outside US? I can only remember that the SantaFe logo was not available outside US. I suppose it should be more like..."Below is a list of BNSF and other branded products" ?
I think it was meant that BNSF branded products were anything that BNSF currently held the rights to, which would include ATSF, BN, and C&S.
Actually, we do have that. See Arizona Divide. Though only one of the liveries is there, we are missing the other. https://store.steampowered.com/app/...Arizona_Divide_Winslow__Williams_Route_Addon/ By the way, I did get my hands on the scenarios in add-on 24057 above. Believe it or not, both work perfectly with the AD air brake model. Some of these old scenarios hold up very well. I had recordings for them, but until I get an enclosure to access my old hard drive, they remain unavailable as the edited scenarios themselves and the videos are both there.
ACTUALLY....We don't. These are RSC ones, not the JL one from Arizona Divide, and there's noticable differences
Interesting, this has been completely withdrawn, not only outside US. They won't come back. I guess these 2010 models have no headlight beams and rain effects, being repaints of the Kuju SD40-2. I can live without them. Pretty sure there's fine repaints for newer models on RWA.
You don't follow my point. I am saying that Milepost Simulations has included an SD40-2 with air brake functionality in Arizona Divide, and the scenarios with the old train work just as fine. The model you are seeking is antiquated. I'd love to see the original DLC return with an updated air brake model, but the chance of that happening is Slim to None, and Slim is gone and on the highway right now. A new model is also not likely unless DTG makes their own American route that includes a Santa Fe on it. I doubt it will be its own DLC at this stage. However, there is Tehachapi Pass. Hence, I will never say "never" here.
To clear up my comment, say you take the Sherman Hill SD40-2 and change how it looks. Bam, updated Santa Fe model.
Yep. I wonder why they keep breaking those scripts again and again, Sherman's perfect though 10 years of age. So all we need is a repaint.
I'd just like to say that I might of seemed a bit negative moaning about the the SD40-2 Santa Fe Edition not coming back when I should be celebrating all that we did get. It was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek (and getting back TOTALLY withdrawn stuff is a different subject anyway). I am over the moon that everyone can now have the banned stuff again as I know it has been eating away at a lot of people for being denied it, and have bought everything I didn't already have and am loving it. So thanks DTG and BNSF!
