Hi all, I'm new here! So be nice. I recently picked up the game for the PlayStation after months of umm'ing and ahh'ing about if it was worth it and currently really enjoying it. I downloaded the London Commuter DLC, but have come across what seems like a regular red light bug (All lights at red and trains at a stand still at East Croydon) So whilst that's actually fairly accurate to real-life, not-so ideal for gaming. Do we know if there's a patch coming to fix it? I know one came out yesterday, but didn't see anything in the patch notes around the red light issue?
Hi Garetth, What console have you got and what version are you running on the console? Also can you say what services they are so we might be able to identify them. There is a number of routes this happens on. But this is the first I have heard of them around East Croydon. Regards Hentis
Hi, I'm on the PS4 and currently on v1.75 (although when I started the scenario it was the 1.74 version) Currently on the Brighton to London Vic Gatwick Express (Departing Brighton at 17:46)
Did you save the session and later come back to it? If so, TSW has been plagued by this issue since it released. When resuming the save, the dispatcher bugs out and cannot route trains, thus resulting in red signals everywhere.
Strange, i bought london commuter a few days ago and haven't had a problem. Doesn't mean there isn't one though. Have you checked the map to see if a train is blocking a junction?
I did, but all northbound lines and southbound lines aren't moving (let it roll on for 10-15mins). So it's not a case of one line being the issue It might be as Railfan1985 suggested be because I came back to a save, but the save only would have been when arriving at Brighton from London and then coming back to resume the northward journey.
Since you are new, the earlier you know the better. Do not use the save/resume function, unless you are practically at your destination, or very very near. Resuming from a save will mess up the timetable and the dispatcher. If you can't do a run in one sitting, simply don't do it or select a shorter service.
