So the 465 services which were always supposed to be those Were originally done with her br 375, but but in real life they’re only 465 services So how does the substitution work. Like is free roam do they substitute 100% of the time or some other thing.

Not really. IRL the 465 services (as they are in game) are done by the Class 700, which we don't have in game. There are no services between Gravesend and Rochester run by 465s nowadays.
The 465 should be limited Gillingham to Victoria runs and the occasional Gillingham to Cannon Street via Chiselhurst, as well as some Rochester to Victoria services

DTG changed many of the "Thameslink services" between Gravesend and Rainham to be the 465, and a few of the CML services to Gillingham as well I believe

In direct answer to your question: if you own the 465 DLC, then the appropriate services are silently switched to 465s vice 377s. Or, in timetable mode, just choose the 465 and run any of its available services.

When it was released it was "current", and if it was in the past too far Rainham P0 wouldn't exist because it was created specifically for the 700s to reverse there.
Previous to that the Charing Cross regionals terminated at Gillingham
