I've finally pulled up behind another train with can signalling enabled. Still haven't had to misfortune to a terminal red on this route. Has DTG acknowledged the issue and confirmed they are working on a fix?

I have had same issues with both journey and timetable services on PS4 as well (don’t have on PC yet as I just recently purchased the base game there). Trains blocking paths at GCT, near Crestwood, at North White Plains to name a few. Sometimes they’re stopped at red lights that never change with clear ROWs. Sometimes stopped with no red lights, on junctions, etc. Sometimes on the wrong track that their supposed to be on. At first it was mostly when driving M3s, but started on M7s too. Safety systems on or off same results.

I honestly don't have any timetable problems with any services. Good luck to DTG working out why they're affecting some people so massively and others not at all.

It's definitely an odd one isn't it. Crosses formats and routes l, where it rears its ugly head it happens frequently yet others like us have yet to see it even when we're trying to preproduce how others are affected.

This is the sort of issue Devs must hate

    It's a DTG problem. I just wanna be a happy customer :)

And maybe this is because I got 1500h in TSW so it's is easier for me to find the invisible problems which are so hard to encounter and fix for the game developer.

So I recently bought Harlem Line for PC and just completed journey mode 616 service (where my problems began on PS4 version) and was able to complete successfully (safety systems on, except deadman which I never bother with).

Has anyone completed 616 journey successfully and ran into AI issues on later journeys or services? It seems 616 always seems to be a first issue. Hopefully my journeys continue to progress without incident.

You have to be careful. After 10 000 hours you will become the part of the code :)

Well I answered my own question. On the very next journey run (GCT to Crestwood, can’t remember run number) I got stuck behind a train stopped at Fleetwood station northbound that would not move (no red lights, switches, other trains, etc.). Played it a second time and there were a bunch of trains stuck in the opposite direction near the Hudson line junction (towards Yankees station) but no issues on my line and I was able to complete.

I've finally had my first AI stall. My train was 2325 deadhead 0728 GC to Crestwood, all went well until I needed to crossover at Crestwood. The interlocking signal stayed red. When I checked the map I found an south facing AI stalled just north of Crestwood blocking my path. There was about 6 AI stuck behind. When jumping into the cab of the stalled AI I checked it's timetable and found it had been sitting there since around 0725. I don't think it had "woke up" Ie. It hadn't starting moving at the point I started the scenario. redrev1917 you might want to try this to see if you have the same problem.

This is a great run, provided you spawn at GCT and take it over. Then, all works well! See this post in the Awesome Setvicrs thread:

The Crestwood Turn on the Harlem Line

There is a fantastic ECS run with the M3A on Harlem Line:
Train 2325 GCT to Crestwood at 07:28.

But,there's a catch. If you launch directly into the service, you will encounter an AI blockage at the end. The AI trains are tangled just north of Crestwood and I think it is a southbound express service holding things up. However, if you spawn on foot at GCT, the run plays out perfectly.

So, spawn at GCT at 07:25 and head west up the the stairs to track 40. Walk/run to the front and take over the service. There is plenty of time to get there and get things set up before the 07:28 departure.

Be ready to hit the acknowledge button and brakes repeatedly. You arrive at Crestwood just a little after 8. If you return to free roam at the end of the service, you can shut down your cab and head to the other end for the southbound run. That run is Train 326, Crestwood to GCT described in the post above.

All in all it is a fantastic round trip that starts on foot in the depths of GCT and ends in the seat parked on a storage track in the depths of GCT.
