    Wow! That's big news.

Thalys and Eurostar merge, with the Thalys brand being phased out with Eurostar taking over.

Do you think this could improve rail connectivity in Europe? Possibly London gets connected to more cities compared to Eurostar.

Talking about TSW, could this change the licensing with the new company?

I doubt it, it's likely to REDUCE the connectivity rather than increase it

Good question and if that were to be the case DTG can get both from SNCF if it has shares in Thalys and Eurostar. There are more SNCF brands to be added it's Germany Benelux Cargo division Captrain. Thalys does affect HRR & SKA these are the Paris to Dortmund trups

You know shareholders don't tell the company how to run itself, right? That's what Directors are for...
Just because SNCF has a stake (even a majority one) in Eurostar doesn't mean DTG get licenses more easily

As said above it doesn’t mean the SNCF has the biggest stake that we’ll get the licence easily for Eurostar and Thalys, if we follow that logic then I’ll be able to travel freely on the MBTA network as Keolis is owned by the SNCF at 70% lol. More seriously sadly they’re kinda hard to give a licence but finger crossed who knows ! They have better and more important things to do now because of the crisis of COVID
