A National Express East Coast Class 43 HST is doing a non-stop passenger service from Peterborough to Kings Cross on the East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough route.
I'm a big fan of the GP family especially GP9s and now they are available to ROW I have been revisiting some old and familiar haunts from "yesteryear" which (for me) have new life with more appropriate locos. I have all the Gevos and SD70ACes etc but they have the charm of a bucket to me and are completely out of place with the length of train that I prefer (where I can see both ends!) so... I have been playing around with Ohio Steel 2 (and others). Conrail C39-8 plus 2 x GP9s take a coal train down to the Steel Mill and then return light engines to Massillon. The GP9s are repaints in the RWA library and the C39-8 is a touch up of a repaint in the RWA library.
New ballast needs to be laid at the Grangemouth Intermodal Yard so a Freightliner Class 08 is helping by shunting wagons filled with ballast around the Grangemouth Intermodal Yard on the Edinburgh-Glasgow route.
How do you achieve such fine visual quality? APS&W obviously, and I assume some version of RW Enhancer. Which? (I still use Pro.) What tweaks to RW Enhance, if any, do you enable?
Hi decrepitts#7027, As you mentioned yes I do use AP Sky & Weather Enhancement pack, as well as the AP Track enhancement pack (but that can't be seen in the Class 08 screenshots above). I use RW Enhancer 2 (To quickly clarify my RW Enhancer 2 settings will be compatible with RW Enhancer Pro because they use the same graphics enhancement settings, however the enhancements in RW Enhancer 2 have better optimisation and are made to look even better compared to RW Enhancer 1 / RW Enhancer Pro). I also use a 4k monitor to play Train Simulator which can achieve very detailed screenshots. I'll add my RW Enhancer 2 settings below if you would like to use them. Also I can list my in-game Train Simulator settings if you want me to.
Also just letting you know I just turned off the "Weather Effects Enhancements" just now because I realised it messes with the AP Weather a bit.

On a cool autumn morning, a CSX manifest runs through Gettysburg (PA.) on the CSX Hanover Subdivision.
The Grangemouth Refinery is being re-built so an EWS Class 08 is helping by going back and forth between the Grangemouth yards with wagons full of rubble that need to be cleared away from the building site on the Edinburgh-Glasgow route.
Too many similar images of a freeware Victorian era 0-6-0T loco pack installed this morning. It can be had at The Marshalling Yard discord server's "download-links" section as [PW] Gen Tanks Generation1.rwp. Comes in a decent number of variants, some branded, some not. Three captures of the loco in black Cambrian Railways livery on Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley, the first station stop beyond Penrith: Two images, the loco now seen in unbranded green, on Western Branch Lines, Steam Workshop Route. GWR 6-wheel coaches are BLS reskins:
I'm in the throes of route building (I have four on the go three in the US, one UK ) one of them is a Rock Island route, a railroad almost ignored but has a heck of a history (first to reach the Mississippi, Abe Lincoln represented it in a lawsuit etc) but an iconic locomotive was missing until recently - the GP9 (I had already repainted a GP7) now we have the Blue GP9 but I needed a Red one so I have done a repaint of the Blue. Here is a shot of a typical Rock island scene at the approach to Ottawa Yard (Illinois). The route is a WIP but in this picture we have the last three liveries of the Rock all of which lasted until after the Rock was gone......... Repaint of the GP9 will be uploaded onto the RWA site very soon. The SW1200 is my repaint of a Britkits loco. Edit : Red GP9 now in the RWA library.

A ScotRail Class 170 with a First ScotRail Class 170 pulls an eastbound express from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley on the Edinburgh-Glasgow route.
A few more shots of Maria Pass, renaturalised, with 2 SD40s of the BNSF from Essex towards Whitfish.......
Hello @Ardeshire, this is partly due to the changed vegetation and partly due to the changed tracks from Vulcan, Freeware. I also use RW Enhancer 2.
A First ScotRail Class 170 pulling a westbound express from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street on the Edinburgh-Glasgow route.
Hi Blazin , you need to "Download Vegetation Komplett" from the following page. https://rail-sim.de/forum/filebase/entry/3427-hamburg-hannover-deluxe/ Move the assets into the Railworks folder, unlock them in the editor, then you can start..... With RW Tools you can change many things quickly, the rest is manual work.
I know that feeling well I used to see that "Out of water" Logo on numerous occasions, it is really a case of practice makes perfect. If it is any help try to remember the acronym "KILO" On a lot of the steam locos in TS advanced mode, pressing K,L on keyboard opens the valves to let the water flow I & O keys open the injectors to pump the water into the bolier. Either Shift + K / Shift +L - Shift+I / Shift + O closes the valves / injectors when required. It can vary from loco to loco so always check the manual. Also recommend using the F5 HUD (press twice) to see detailed advice about pressures / settings etc. Good Luck
Thought about offering this up for the "AT STATION" theme for this weeks official screenshot competition but decided not to in case the fence was a third party add on. LOL
A BR Class 31 takes a Yarm to York passenger service on a very hot summer day in 1975 on the East Coast Main Line.
Light inter-exchange service from Riesa to Coswig with a powerful Voith Gravita. Note the Czech couchette car out of service.
Just a fluff shot. Going through my old stuff and found this funny one. See what I see? No? Well, the reflections are sunlit but the originals are not. It's actually prettier this way, but.

2 Western Pacific GE U30B's pull a large consist of boxcars from Oroville to Keddie on the Feather River Canyon route, however one third of the way through they will have to stop at a signal at James to wait for another train to pass.
