My Boston .pak file was updated today along with TVL and the Classes 20 and 31, but there is nothing in the patch notes about any changes to Boston. What's going on?
Interesting. I wonder if they updated that broken scenario for the 20 on TVL I keep moaning about, or would that be a route update? Edit: Downloading now and if you go to the "View Updates" screen from the Download box, it's just blank. Come on Dovetail, it wouldn't hurt to put a couple of sentences there as to what's changed...
Nah, they would only do that a couple of days before the DLC, so that they are working with a release build. Besides, I have heard that they are having a problem modeling tilting trains with OHLE- can't get the panto to behave.

They are not doing any new stuff, did this not get through? After Steam there will be a break while they fix what they already have. And quite rightly so. So yeah expect a lot of fixes and probably the patch notes won't keep up, but if the extras are better than before then that's all good.
Not exactly what they said tbh, Matt said there's a short gap after SoS where they can concentrate on updates and fixes. But they never said they aren't doing any new stuff and they even put a new route on the Roadmap.
So, what are the changes? I loaded up the CTC and I'm getting a loud air sound when the brake is applied. It hurt my ears when standing at stations. It use to do this when applying the brakes, (when the pressure was increasing) not ALL the time the brake was applied. Edit: If anyone has this problem, turn off the EP brake switch above the windscreen.
Maybe Horseshoe will come with some new wagons, and those will be scattered around the yards? Just speculating.
Let me guess, another change that they totally forgot about and added to the game unintentionally - like the cruise control on the ACS-64?
I've contact JD... This is his reply: "It was a behind-the-scenes small change to tidy a couple of bits up in the back-end."
I am not aware of any gameplay changes that got pushed. I certainly didn't submit anything into source control recently. Curious.
I tried a Boston-Providence Amtrak Journey service last night (can't remember which one specifically, I'd have to go back and check when I am home) and spawned to find my locomotive glitching and launching itself off the track. I don't think that was like that before. Cheers
Yes, me too - I've not had that happen before, so that's why I wanted to see patch notes. As soon as I sat in the the F40 at Boston the thing tipped over and fell of off the tracks. Think it was around 1700. Tried the thing a few times then quit.
Not good... What on earth is going on with TSW at the moment? Bugs galore, flawed new releases and now breaking existing routes. Someone needs a good kick up the posterior methinks, for this lackadaisical QA.
