I was playing around in Scenario Planner and I noticed as I was flying through Glasgow Central in free cam that the PIS was working; I initially thought "maybe it's reading it from the timetable" - but considering I'm in a 2 car 150, not a 3 car 314, it must be new. I decided to go test it in Germany and America, and found it to work! I also tested the German PIS on Köln - Aachen, and the British PIS on East Coastway, both worked. Checking the patch notes I found nothing alluding to a PIS update, and I've not seen any other mention of it. I asked on the TSC Discord and nobody else knew. So, is this an update that dodged the patch notes? Also, whilst I'm at it: Track 01 at Boston South Station displays the Back Bay sign, whilst other tracks display "Boston South Station". Also, the PIS in timetable mode has changed (hinting it's a change to the Core PIS), as this example at Neilston shows: Previously, the Turnback services were hidden from the PIS, with only "Terminates Here" (services from Glasgow Central) showing up. Just thought I'd bring this to the attention of the forums, incase anyone is interested.
Didn’t this start functioning with the TVL update? I’m not sure about other routes but if you did a custom scenario it would load the PIS up.
To expand on the OP: The PIS in built-in Scenarios is broken*, with some services display the time as "00:00", with the 'expected' showing at "Exp. [Start time of scenario]" Some trains just flat out don't show up. *I've only tried the vertical PIS so far. Cathcart Circle, "Dreich Day": This service (the player service) to Neilston shows as "00:00". This train to Maxwell Park - which hasn't arrived yet - is also set to start at midnight... Platform 3 seems to not exist, whilst Platform 4 doesn't stop anywhere, and also doesn't seem to have a train anywhere. The same happens on London Commuter with the scheduled times showing as 00:00 On a more positive note, however, these changes to the PIS have now enabled it for the Southeastern services at London Victoria, meaning we know have the PIS in full function, rather than just being empty.
I wonder if this is less a fault in the PIS system, and more to do with the fact scenario planner can't do timetabled stops.
