Xbox Games Won’t Save On Horseshoe Curve

I was doing a few runs on Horseshoe Curve and neither times the games would save, instead the button would just go gray and prevent me from accessing it, however other routes are fine

 

On PC I have a similar experience. The GameSave is stored on disc, but is not recognized by the game for some reason. This is really bad.

At the steam forums someone else confirmed this issue.

 

Epic Store version here, experience the same thing.

 

What a fail. Money staying in wallet.

Unless of course it’s a tutorial run as for some reason only known to DTG, these cannot be saved.

 

It is a timetable run. Normally tutorials can be saved as well.

 

The big problem is that with the crashes I am experiencing on this route on Series X, some services are basically impossible for me to complete. When I first tried to restore a save and it was greyed out, I thought I'd misremembered saving every ten minutes. When I realised this was happening every time, my heart sank and my enthusiasm for this route, which I'd been looking forward to so much, faded quite a bit.

 

Same. PS4 console. Go to other routes, can save them. Just Horseshoe Curve route.

 

Same issue on PC. It boggles mind my mind how this wasn't picked up within the first few hours of playtesting. The ability to save your game on long freight routes is an absolute must

You'd expect it to have come up the first time someone got a crash on the route and went to reload their save.
