Good evening to all. Can someone tell me where I can find the "QuickBlueprintSet" file in the Railworks folder?
Sorry, a negative on a file search in the Railworks Folder. Only thing I found was Blueprinteditor 2 application Not sure if that has anything to do with what you are after as I have never used it. Is it possibly an RWE or similar application that creates the file you are after. Sorry I couldn't help you more
Something to do with German DLC or PlayerProfiles.bin? From https://rail-sim.de/forum/lexicon/entry/20-editor-favoriten/
A file of this name does not exist. Like Peter Hayes hinted, it is a tag in the PlayerProfiles.bin, in my case it is empty. I'm unaware of its purpose, and not in need to know. Jörg, why are you asking?
Servus torfmeister , I ask because I have created a quick list in the editor for the replacement of the vegetation of the Maria Pass route. I know the link shown by Peter Hayes to the RailSim forum. There it is also described that this Quick List, for whatever reason, is empty again from time to time after a restart of the TS. I would like to save the file and insert it again if necessary.
Jörg, I still do not understand the purpose. Never mind. But editing the PlayerProfiles.bin won't get you anywhere because it is maintained by TS and will be overwritten. I'm sure what you are trying to accomplish can be done in a different way though.
Well torfmeister , the purpose of the whole thing for me would be not to have to refill the Quick List every time I restart the TS. But anyway, the loss of time is not that dramatic. I put the TS in the taskbar after saving and that's it.... As long as you don't close it completely, it works. Thanks for your effort.
Now I'm getting it. Haven't used that list because I've never built a serious route. So those quick favs are only stored for the current session...
There is a bit about it on this German site. https://rail--sim-de.translate.goog...tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc
It's basically telling you to reinsert them to PlayerProfiles.bin every time it gets updated automatically. Bit of a hassle... You could also write protect the file if you're not going to change your settings anyway and your quick pick list is complete.
Trust me (now that I know what this is all about) It's a damned sight less hassle than repopulating the quick list in the editor, that is probably the single biggest pita for anyone who works on routes or scenarios! This is a really handy thing to now know and I thank the OP for inadvertently bringing it to our attention.
