Broken Achievements / Trophies

Yes, progress at last. I can confirm that those 2 achievements now work. Guess we wait and hope the others get fixed.

 

True achievements is now listing the game as having 2 unobtainable and 1 partly discontinued achievements. Those being OSD: Master Class, DRA: Dresden Commuter and BR187: A First Long Trip.

 

It’s good to know some problems are fixed now. Great and good job!
Still, that is not something to be overly happy about because DTG has an underlying problem. DTG needs a test team and test that stuff before releasing content. I mean it’s not like this is an isolated problem. It’s standard here. I’m still not getting any new dlc until I know for sure it’s 100% working as it should be.

 

nice that they finally have been patched , hopefully the other ones get a patch too

 

should we now all focus together on get new tickets for the 187 and the 143 achievement ?

something new here , when do we get the last 2 achievements patched ?

 

Did anyone else have the 465 200 mile achievement stop progressing since the latest update? Every other similar one like the Class 31, the 08 and 09, etc. are tracking fine, but this one specifically stopped. Might this bug in some way be related to behind the scenes tweaks on the 465 for TSW3 and the new SEHS route?

(Yes, I fired the route up to see about finishing that loco DLC's achievements before TSW3)

 

It's tracking fine for me on Xbox One. Only reason I can think it is stuck is if the game crashed and didn't save the distance. Check your 465 distance in the player profile and if it is lower than the achievement progress, you just have to catch back up for it to get moving again.

 

Nah, last crash I remember was way back when HSC released, when it would always crash going around the curve as you passed all the photographers. I'd already looked at the 465 and ingame profile distance was several miles higher than what the achievement tracker showed, so at some point the achievement tracker had fallen behind.

Had the game running solidly for about 14 straight hours the other day just grabbing achievements, so that one stood out as the only one not progressing, since I had it favourited alongside its counerparts for several other locos, as I had been working towards them all the other week..
So anyway, instead of continuing to run services in it as I had been, I went and put together an off the rails scenario for it and set it going down SKA and sure enough 20 or so miles into the route although the tracker had stopped working for that one achievement and no others, it popped, while still showing as 80%. Guess it just stopped displaying progress on that one single achievement for some reason, while still tracking it in the background. I'd hazard a guess that if the ingame distance gets higher than the tracked distance the tracker cannot update, and the result is that the achievement tracking stops until it sees the ingame number hit the necessary 100% mark, and pops regardless of where the tracking paused.

I think i try to get First the 143km in RSN (it
Tracks fine in achivement Tracker) and then i use this method with delete your data from Console but keep the Console offline when i Start TSW2 again.

And Sure u can see wich is wich... not only the brake key is a good thing to know it. I also figured out, that the "DB BR 143" from DRA has a bigger Black mask in the LED shield than the "BR143 DB" from RSN its a little difference but thats what i see to confirm wich is wich.

But its still no tracking, if only DRA is installed... its wierd but one article is interesting...

Ps.: Playing TSW2 on Xbox one S is a time eating Horror Trip. Someone try that broken achivements on PC Gamepass ? Ive ALL DLCs for TSW2 but only the CD to Play on Console... in my time I was start with tsw2 in 2025 so they dont sell the game anymore in store
