I would love to have this route in tsw2, with the transpennine express class 68’s on mk5 sets. You could also have the transpennine express class185’s. As a separate loco dlc you could have northern class 170’s and maybe even some class 37’s on a rail tour. The route is is between york and Scarborough and takes around 48 minutes from end to end. Hope you consider this dovetail

Yeah the class 68s are brilliant trains and this route is very interesting. Correct me if I am wrong but would the 150s run on this line or not, as I know Northern have some but no idea where they are used.

Don’t think the 150s run on this line. It’s mostly transpennine anyway, I think it’s only around once an hour for the northen’s.

42 miles, only two intermediate stations...
Junctions just outside York and a few miles before Scarborough. Other than that very little to see (typical English countryside) or do.

Alright, it was a wild guess as I am not from that area. Still a brilliant suggestion though.

This suggestion needs to be put on train sim world 2!
We need more modern british diesel locomotives and a modern northern route. I am tired of seeing the boring and old electrostars and electric locomotives on tsw2.
we need a modern northern route on tsw2, you hear me dtg!

Yes totally agree Electrostars are really dull. The north needs some love.
