Well, DTG cover UK, US and German routes. With the occasional left-field addition. As much as I'd love to see some rural French and Spanish routes, you can't blame DTG for sticking to what makes money. They're a business after all. If there's a gap in the market though, there's an opportunity for someone.
You say "as an extension to the Mannheim – Karlsruhe route " but I presume it will install as a stand alone route? Like the other extensions you have done? SWC Bristol - Cardiff/Bristol Swansea Chatham/Chatham Medway
What do you mean standalone? When you get it you need Mannheim-Karlsruhe and then you have the whole 134km route.
DTG released Briston to Cardiff and later announced there would be an "extension" to Swansea and if you owned Briston to Cardiff it would be cheaper.. When it installed it gave two routes, the original BTM to CDF and the new BTM to CDF to Swansea - both separate, both playable but duplicating assets on the computer. The same happened when the Chatham line was extended along the Medway valley and if you bought both you will have two independent routes. AFAIK the Only DTG/RSC route that was extended without creating a new line was the Sheerness extension to the London to Faversham line. Peter
