European Locomotive And Assets Pack Problems

I’ve been trying to recreate the South Wales Class 37 hauled ore trains and MGR coal trains.
I wanted to include as AI traffic an Early Livery HST; utilising the AP Class 43 Valenta Enhancement pack.
I have noticed that although listed; these and other locomotives like the Class 47 will not load using TS editor. I have checked that the European locomotive and assets pack is installed, but they aren’t loading nor are they showing up in the in game inventory/menu.
I’ve only noticed this since the change to Train Simulator Classic.
Can anyone offer any help please?

If it’s an AP livery you will need to select Ap in the editor as well and the class 43 pack iirc

 

To use the European Assets, load them in the editor - Kuju > RailSimulator, tick the middle box

Thanks 390001, this is what really confused me, I had checked the AP box, and all the livery options were listed but none would load. So, with both yours and torfmeisters help, I should now be able to complete the scenario

You're welcome. TS Classic has not changed anything in the game except menu and logos. You've probably edited a scenario before on a route that has the European assets loaded on route level. That's what the three checkboxes are for, left one loads the assets on route level, making them available for each scenario - but therefore also increasing scenario loading time because even if a scenario does not need them they are loaded every time (only possible in World Editor). Middle box loads the assets for the specific scenario you're editing, and the right box is for making them invisible in the objects list, handy if you're browsing the contents of one asset pack only.

Then onwards towards Llanwern Steel Works with a loaded Iron Ore train from Port Talbot
