    The route is 70 miles long and I've always loved it so because its train sim world 2 it should extend to crewe it would have avanti class 390s London northwestern railway class 350s Cross Country voyager yes I'm aware of licensing and class 70 for freightliner I don't think dovetail will add this A for licensing and B crewe is in spirit of steam add on and C I doubt we will get 4 new trains if we did I would like 221 avanti add on

    I agree with this suggestion fully, WCML TV would be brilliant for TSW. Extending to Crewe could be a stretch but it depends.

    One note on this;
    Considering SoS is set in the 1950s, the Crewe model doesn't help a modern version nearly as much as you'd think. You'd need to make so many changes you wouldn't really blame DTG for making a new model.

    Rugby to Crewe is 75½ miles...

    Stafford seems a more probable end point, being just over 49 miles from Rugby

    This would be great to see in TSW!

    Rugby - Stafford is what we get in TSC.

    It would also be slightly easier to build, Crewe being a beast of a place railway wise... I mean Rugby wouldn't be a joke either with two Northbound routes and two Southbound but still easier than Crewe

    Just to add there is a fair chunk of Crewe modled in the North Wales Coast on TSC, I don't know if any of this info is usable for TSW but surely it's a start.

    It's not so much the station and track layout (the raw design may be useful in rebuilding but it WOULD need to be rebuilt for TSW as the TSC design isn't that great), more a case of the timetable, assets required and so on for Crewe would be massive, so the time is in the amount of trains and assets needed to make it work as much as anything else.
    I guess a 390, 350 and 66 would be a start, but Crewe sees much more than that

    They would have to build a UK electric loco too!

    I spose a BR class 86 (Freight) or 88 would suffice. Both run out of DIRfT I believe

    I would be happy with either! I guess they would go with the 88 as getting the tap changer of the 86 right would be much harder.

    Not really. If I remember correctly most electric locos work on a "tap basis" but without the tap, so the uplift is controlled by a regulator, but they don't "jump from power level to power level" in the same way the lever does essentially.
    Certainly the class 91 worked in this way
