The Class 67 has a few various liveries whether it be EWS, DB, Belmond British Pullman, etc. The Class 67 runs services for DB Cargo running the odd few light runs and freight services. The routes I recommend this loco for is: GWE, East Coastway, South Eastern High Speed. I don't know what routes 67's actually run on, but this is my idea for a future DLC.
The Belmond Services out of Victoria tend to run either out to Kent or onto the West London line via Clapham Junction or down to Wimbledon via Streatham and out into the South West https://www.belmond.com/trains/europe/uk/belmond-british-pullman/search-results If you check on RTT and look for FRGT (freight) on platform 2, anywhere other than the depots is likely to be one of these units They're stored in Stewarts Lane which you can see from the CML between the junction off to Clapham and the junction from the BML on the left
Just checked. The lines are already in the game but behind a wall...So they're there but you can't walk to them.
Why would they put on the map but you can't get to it, I get that it's super close to the Mainline but hear me out. Why would it be on the map if you can't get to it but as I think of it, that's even more potential for this DLC, as after hours of the Pullman you could take it from Victoria to the yard where the train will terminate.
Two possibilities - they intended on possibly using that region of the map as AI only traffic so built it with a purpose to maybe include these in future nobody told the route builders where to stop And yes, that's why I mentioned it. The Pullmans go from the sidings up under the CML and onto a line to the East of the Victoria approach, joining just before the river. So a completely different experience than the CML or BML lines in game
There's barely any interesting services for the Class 66. I see no point in making another freight loco if they won't do a proper freight route.
As I posted in another thread the 67 has quite limited potential. It’s not really suitable for heavy freight work due to its passenger gearing (125 MPH) which means it’s maximum permitted trailing load up gradients is less than a Class 47 or 57.
We could always get a Test Train DLC adding services across multiple routes, using a locomotive such as the Class 67.
With any luck, we might get the 67s if Just Trains end up giving us the Chiltern Mainline route (which is where my money would bet) either as a included locomotive or a dlc add on. It has however been 5 months since their announcement with no further news, not even a hint. I hope we hear more from them soon as I am keen (as are most) to see what they have been working on.
My guess is too they start with an existing jt route from ts classics. The silence means probably they actually started with their production after the announcment. In this case its possible we might see the first jt dlc on christmas... or next year.
