I am not a train nerd, nor am I interested in any form of Train spotting or anything to do with trains. I recently purchased the game on xbox series x, and let's put it this way I am addicted and I do not know why. To me it's basically a brake and accelerator simulator, and for the most part you are travelling in a straight line, with a few stops, open close doors and repeat. I have no idea why I am enjoying this experience so much, there is so little to do once you are travelling. I tried the high speed and it was 45 mins of basically 3- or 4 speed changes and nothing else todo, yet again, I thought I enjoyed that. Could it be the great grx that adds a relaxing immersion? not sure, but I am enjoying it, I have the New commuter pack, and have considered other routes, London underground was boring a bit just tunnels, so any suggestions on another dlc please advise, i like the traffic and seeing other trains, having to w router login ait at lights for other trains to pass is another thing i dont understand why i enjoy it. How ever must say the dlc costs are vile. base game plus 3 dlc which should come with the game put me off massivly so 3 routes nearly 90 quid, this business practice stinks. Anyway might look at ECL or GNW lines not sure which is better, as funds are limited.
I know, it's some bizarre kind of voodoo. I bought the base game because it was 5 bucks, yet driving from point A to point B is somehow compelling. Why? Who knows?
Point of order- this is the forum for Train Simulator and you sure aren't running that on an X-Box unless there's a Windows emulator I don't know about. You have Train Sim World 2- same publisher, different game. Glad to hear that you're enjoying it though.
